    Was there also noticeable cooling of the reactor outer surface when extra power is fed to the core? The thermal resistance is greater from the core to the surface than from the heater to the surface, so that should happen.
    For the same reason, the amount of total energy should decrease. It, however, does not seem to happen in the study. ?( :hmm:

    I did not put my attention to the measurement of total energy at all, as it was not planned.
    I checked the temp of the outer surface few times, but just because of being curios, not for writing it down. I didn't mention anything strange with it.
