For what it’s worth, we are working on this very issue. We have a working reactor and a dummy. I have brought it to two reputable labs run by credible and well known researchers. We have done a positive run on one calorimeter… -

Just a reminder. This very good thread will close at midnight tonight, but will remain visible to all who look for it. If the pandemic returns with teeth, we will re-open the topic.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed so many polite, sensible,… -

to Alan Smith’s post in the thread Frank Gordon's "Lattice Energy Converter (LEC)"...replicators workshop.
I have continued collaborating with Frank and Harper on this - the configuration has evolved quite a bit, which Frank will talk about at ICCF-25. But I'm sure that he won't mind me telling you all that it is no longer a gas-spaced cell, but uses an ionic… -

I would add that my paper was written with the intention of dispelling a few of Frank's original precepts about the LEC. From memory these were principally that co-dep was a requirement and that it worked in a hydrogen atmosphere.
I showed that it worked… -

All measurements contain errors. In the case of cold fusion, THH claims that the magnitude of the error is equal to the total measured value in every case. In addition, this situation occurs no matter what property is measured or by whom. The error… -

Alan - you know my view? LEC is solid established effect - and interesting - but there is no evidence it involves nuclear reactions? There are perfectly good non-nuclear explanations.
So no concerns from this skeptic, just I don't… -

THH, speaking from someone who is in the process of validating our current technology in multiple labs I personally appreciate your critical feedback as something I can learn from.

Thank you, Dr. Storms, for your reply. I think THHuxley is offering good advice, though I could understand why you might be too fed up with everything to want to devote the necessary time.
I will offer a shorter and less technical perspective.

Birds, bees, arrows, and leaves in the wind made it obvious that powered flight was feasible, however the successful design for an engine made with the ‘new’ metal aluminium made it possible in practice. An engine with a… -

It's mainly politics and statistics, and plenty of misunderstanding and mis-interpretation of both.

It was immediately obvious that Jurg’s application did not meet the criteria for a real patent.
Did Airbus get that patent? Or is it just another dead IP grab attempt. -

Yep, you can't patent that sort of thing.....and I know from personal experience that Sharon M Davis is a tough cookie. I would not like to go up against her with a self-penned, self-prosecuted patent application that was clearly… -

Correct I have not watched the video, nor have I much knowledge in tritium, hence asking the question. Sorry, I have missed if there is some point you are trying to make. -

The evidence in the ICCF24 ppt is a bit indirect - but if as it appears:
(1) they have tritium gas dissolved in electrolyte at 20Bq/l
(2) solubility of T2/H2 in H2O is ~ 1.6mg/l
(3) t has activity 3X10^14 Bq/g
(3) That means the experiment…
