If that happens, we will reopen the Rossi: The final chapter thread. It probably will not come to that though, *if* Rossi does what he says he will. And if I have it right, he has mentioned having a real independent test done by a…

For the sake of tradition, for those who remember the "one megawatt" demonstration of November 2011, the data will be written in pencil on a dirty piece of notebook paper.

Replied to the thread Rossi-Blog Comment Discussion.

It does indeed seem that Steven Karels' post on JONP has stumped Rossi. I guess he's either consulting with his props maker on ways to attach a heat exchanger or scratching his head figuring out where all that heat is disappearing to.

It is remarkable how much detailed and captivating information one can provide when one is unencumbered by any facts or evidence of any kind. I think Rossi’s secret partner is Burger King because they sell Impossible Burgers and Rossi specializes in…

Perhaps we should translate this into polite academese, suitable for a physics conference: "The speaker's hypotheses are unfounded speculation and handwaving."

That's it? No wires coming out? Hard to measure electrical power out then.

The lack of proof that Rossi has a team absolutely implies that there is no team. Individuals capable of rudimentary critical thinking know this much intuitively.

Couldn't resist to comment from my end, becaue it seems you do really believe evrything what Rossi writes...

Isn't it really strange, that there is not the slightest little proof (pictures, business numbers, emplyoees, partners, highest echelon…

Mark not sure how you conclude this:

    (1) Rossi has described his setup in published papers, it is as P has said - and the wrong calculation (also published) clear.
    (2) The given equipment can only measure current (and hence power) if a…

He calculated the power of the sense resistor only, not the input power for the whole circuit.
    Huge difference.
The sense resistor power is a small electrical load in addition to the rest of the circuit, which was not measured.

If you were doing it, would you consider measuring the input power to the device during the test, or is that just extraneous information since Rossi never used fakery?

Given the verified wide range of ways in which Rossi has demonstrated false positives in the past a demo, to be more than a fun show, would need to have independent and skeptical competent engineers test every aspect of the power in/out…

Well, yes, pony show tests that show absolutely nothing will be shown, and Rossi will use incorrect analysis to claim he has a miracle: which no sensible and technically competent person will agree with.
