NASA yes/and no researchers with NASA did get results with Thermocore style work but they are cautious to say they don't speak for NASA, It is not a Ni gas system. You may want to look up Brian Ahern. He is trying to check some of that. and search Dennis Bushnell , Michael A. Nelson ,and Joseph M. Zawodny
