Yes, but you have to look in the long term.
If the e-cat production goes into series ( = mass production and distribution), then also these costs will decrease very fast.

Historic event: Yesterday the 1-year 1MW #Ecat trial was completed. No official results yet, but sources say it's been successful.
-
@BBCK777: We could, if we would know the name of this customer!
But we don't -
@Shane D.: Yes, this "quiet" announcement is very strange
In many other statemens, with much less impact, he's often excessively enthusiastic. And now, at the largest event of the ecat story, he's absolutely unfazed. -
Now everything depends on the credibility of the "ERV", aka "Expert Responsible for Validation".
If it is a nobody or Rossi-related party the complete results are useless, as the lugano report was because Rossi's participation.
If it is a well known really (!!) independent party, then very interesting times are ahead of us... -
The video Frank Acland posted today shows scratches, which he made with his screwdriver trying to open it, in the metal case which looks like alumnia.
-
@John Littlemist: Yes, I removed it.

Of course it is interesting. But the question is if it is not just simple harvesting of electromagnatic radiation (wifi, GSM, etc.), or whether it is scalable and just needs more research...
It's very odd, but let's wait what Frank will report tomorrow after more tests. -
Franks Ocube was delivered and seems to have a battery:

Nice, thank you for your help!

I got an email from Steorn today informing me that my Ocube had inadvertently been shipped without the Li-ion battery in it. Someone had been doing some testing on my Ocube without the battery in it, and it had been placed in the wrong spot where it was picked up for shipping.
:dash:But maybe it's a good thing.
So it's possible to measure directly at the "power generating" parts of the ocube. -

If one wire works, then ten wires work much better.
This is your oppinion. If LENRs exist (what MFMP wants to find out, and you are denying), then we still don't know what's going on on the low level of that reaction.
So why can you expect that more wires will show more excess heat?
What when the reaction process of one wire is neutralizing the reaction of the other wires? To have a clear experimental protocol, MFMP should do this step by step.
When the exerpimental protocol is getting to unclear, you will be the first who's nagging for scam. -
Why don’t MFPM simply multiply the signal (and for the most part not the noise) by using TEN wires or dozens of wires?
Because this wouldn't be a "Celani replication" as by definition. Celani also used one wire. When this test shows a promising outcome, I'm sure MFMP will consider "your" idea to see a more clear result.

Has someone received his orbo?
Allegedly it's on it's shipping way since 3 days now. The first buyers at UK should have received them?? -
The BEAMS HAVE CROSSED on the *GlowStick* 5.2
What this means is to be determined but right now the trend is encouraging.

What is richtopia? Is it well known?
-
@Curbina: Do you have a source for this information? That delivery started?

@David Fojt: It thought that the deuterium could be the missing element in the negative experiments.
Maybe the russians have LiAlH4 with (a litte) more deuterium (in the 0,0...% range), and this deuterium is at some circumstances spending a neutron wich causes other (normal) hydrogen to transform into even more deuterium? Or this neutron is interacting with the metal atoms and these emit in a reaction chain some more neutrons which are immediately captured by H, forming more D?
@me356 also suggested that deuterium could be the main reactant.Maybe the replicators should add a little bit?
