I would add, that as he has specified the minimum install capacity is 1 MW delivered as heat, and recently he commented that they prefer to install as multiple of the 20kw boxes as shown in January demo, does this mean the 1MW is composed of 50 of those 20kw E-cat SK (blue box) units.

Those units are mainly empty space, and can easily fit 10 x 20kw E-cats, which can also be operated by the one controller (per box).

Or is he making custom compact 1MW units comprising 50 x 20kw modules and 5 controllers in the one assembly, and one housing.

If its 50 seperate units, that means a lot of fittings in series, with lagging, which also means a high potential incidence of leaks, and heat loss to the surroundings. Reply Vinney  Vinney • 3 minutes ago

Also, I am having difficulty picturing how these 50 individual elements would work, heating an existing boiler.

We know each E-cat SK will have its own circuit (to exchange heat with the boiler) and this circuit will probably contain demineralized water.

This is a safety feature to not have boiler solution (whatever it might be) not come in contact with the E-cat.

This layout would require a lot of modifications to the existing boiler, or the E-cat modules serving an identical second boiler suitably modified.

Another seperate question, who pays for the second boiler or modifications to the existing boiler.

And a question for the steam engineers in this forum, how much would each of these two options cost.

Adrian, thx. May I ask what is your evidence that you know better than we do? Because Rossi wrote so on his blog? Of course. If nobody can prove there is no customer, than there must be a customer. That is your logic. You would become the most awarded person here and everywhere else, if you can help to find out, who Rossi's customer is, provide pictures or independent 3rd party information (pictures, energy bills, delivery notes, an industrial certificate, testimonials etc.).

Not sure if Rossi is still outside the US. If so, then of course it is an outstanding business performance, to remotely manufacture, deliver, install, wire and operate all the new ECat plants from his location abroad, in up to four countries so far...so we shall be ready to see "sooner or later" signs of Leonardo's business and who are those satisfied customers.

Right, manufacturers and resellers have to follow clear rules and are legally liable for wrong or misleading product labeling.

Rossi is not even able to paste correct links from sifferkols blog on his JONP, when he is talking to himself using his puppet "Prof"...

The link doesn't work and it seems he is mixing old and new stories and loses overview... If you really search for it, you will end up with an old Fred Zoepfl conversation from May 2016... why he stirs up such old stories? Any headwind coming up?

All quiet on the western front in Miami, FL...

anybody knows any news from new customers, sold Ecat SK's, customer feedback, stable remote internet operation of 2000 blue boxes with his 40MW partner, ramping up production, number of orders...? It seems Rossi is not taking care of such ordinary business stuff and is back in his inventor's syndrome mode, now working on direct electricity production....Folks are still excited in crazy naming games on Rossi's blog, latest suggestion for his next gen "product" that delivers direct electricity is ECat FP, in "honor" of Fleischman and Pons...

What happened to the gas turbine powered by ECat SK?

Yeah - that seems to fit in a common container box! Rossi has a great experience with such stuff, in addition he can simply add a second large blue container of the same size packed with 40 of his famous (invisible) heat exchangers to dismiss the heat from the controller boxes....

Rossi's every-day morning prayer claim... the silly puppet video and the world-wide most-read "scientific nuclear paper" of all times are indeed the only "facts" he provides on his SK...the rest remains Rossiwrites.

IMO it is more likely that there is nothing to do regarding new and more MW plant installations at US customers. Not this time and it never was...

Interesting...Rossi being most of the time after Jan 31st in Europe, but still doing all day long R&D with his SK to try to fit it into a gas turbine, invent new materials, generate electricity...manage remote control from Leonardo's headquarter (the Miami condo),...working with his great team and customers and his industrial partner....

What a heck of a work without being in the country where his labs, his factories, his team, his headquarter...everything... is located. He simply must be a genius. No doubt. As many times promised he now already seems to prepare the ECW crowd and his followers for another delay / new project.

The COP figure seems to be an "ITER goal" and part of their exorbitant self-esteem, not sure ...this is common stuff to google from the ITER page, and you can find the JET data in other places as well...

1) Produce 500 MW of fusion power

The world record for fusion power is held by the European tokamak JET. In 1997, JET produced 16 MW of fusion power from a total input heating power of 24 MW (Q=0.67). ITER is designed to produce a ten-fold return on energy (Q=10), or 500 MW of fusion power from 50 MW of input heating power. ITER will not capture the energy it produces as electricity, but—as first of all fusion experiments in history to produce net energy gain—it will prepare the way for the machine that can.

Not sure if this is fully correct if we look at the "produced" amount of fusion energy only...of course there is a loooong way to go (if possible at all in the end after billions or trillions wasted) to reach the proposed 10x COP.

This seems to be a reportet fact:

"The current record for fusion power gain in a tokamak is Q = 0.67 held by the European JET facility located in Culham, UK, which produced 16 MW of thermal fusion power for 24 MW of injected heating power in the 1990s."

I doubt that F&P were able to produce a total of 16MW in their lab experiments. But I may be wrong.

Rossi keeps going with inventing new materials as usual. Not sure why his big fish global echelon partner is not using his amazing skills to start another new business in selling those for tons of money...? But it seems more important for both to write nice questions and answers in a distant little corner of the internet instead of delivery notes and bills for the products leaving his automated factories these days. Curious to read and see some of his SK customers. Maybe the wolfs and moles here can help with this?
