Detecting soft X-rays against a high background of radon from the surrounding rocks would be extremely difficult. At least in Essex which is an alluvial clay basin the background level of radon radiation is only 20 milli Bq/m³. Then you have all the alpha-particle decay products through polonium etc. The background level in my house, even when well ventilated was measured with C-39 plastic detectors at 63 milli Bq/m³ of air.

This is where the SM of physics falls apart-imaginary maths and magic numbers are a ridiculous concoction of the human imagination. Can't we just accept relativity as it stands, E=mc^n? Where n can vary simplistically from very close to 0 to very close to +infinity? What, exactly, do you mean by anti-gravity? Don't gravity-waves (astronomically speaking) have corresponding wavelengths in the light-year range? We understand gravity between the moon, earth and the sun but within black holes in the centre of our Milky Way (named Sagittarius A*) the physics becomes sketchy to say the least.

A killer whale (Orca sp.) has just been put down by the French in the estuary of the river Seine! And a Greenland Shark died and was washed up on the shores of Marazion (Cornwall) here. All further ecological evidence for Global Warming, I would presume. I tried to warn a diver here about the possibility of a Great White Shark lurking in the Celtic sea off the coast here, but he thought I was just taking the piss (making fun of him) and tried to attack me with a punch in the face! Oh well, I should keep such observations of Climate Change to myself in future. But Nature will always strike back and re-balance the situation since surfers and seals look like the same prey for them!
