the LENR energy will probably allow heat to be produced near the consumer.
It will save primary energy, heat...
Heat is already freed in the atmosphere, and Earth knows how to dissipate it . Greenhouse effect is different as it increase the "thermal resistance" of earth ... and sun is wasting heat much more than we humans with our power plants.

The impact on the weather system will probably be linked first to reduction of smoke, then CO2...
Land usage will probably have a huge impact, liked to development of poor countries...
Hard to say what it will change, but we probably can adapt or oppose with LENR.

Can someone help me, by making a summary of what is said in that video ?(

It seems covering many important researchers and supporters in the 90s, but the title is awful:

la conférence s'est bien passée, il y avait une centaine de personnes. A part quelques personnes critiques sur la réalité de la fusion froide, les autres personnes étaient très intéressées. Il n'y a pas encore de retour direct, mais des graines de semées qui germeront peut être un jour...

C'est bientot le printemps je crois, mais pour le moment la croissance est racinaire ;) (et intense).

A small article in Slashdot, about NANOR at MIT (by Hagelstein)

MIT Scientists Report Cold Fusion Success with "NANOR" Device
..."[A video] has been posted on Youtube by someone called ‘AlienScientist’ who attended (and filmed) the recent MIT Cold Fusion seminar and reports about what he has learned. He does a very nice job of summarizing the key points from the seminar, pointing out that Peter Hagelstein and Mitchell Swartz mention such things as how the cold fusion reactions can be enhanced by subjecting the cold fusion cell to an external magnetic heat and shining a laser on the cathodes. He also mentions that they say cracking in the metal and rapid gas loading can cause the deuterium to leak out, thus negatively affecting the amount of excess heat produced. The video also includes pointed criticism of the way the scientific community dealt with Pons and Fleischmann 25 years ago, and laments the lost opportunities that could have been realized if more care had been taken in trying to replicate the effect back then....

Widom larsen theory is interesting, and Larsen is convincing with his slide.
However on vortex, ed Storms give good argument against.

for hime the LENR process, is not fusion, and does not even shield the gamma, but does not produce any gamma or neutron, except as parasitic reactions.

His position is that we observe very very few neutrons and gamma, below a million less than expected... he judge that no phenomenon can be so perfect as to shield so well neutrons and gamma. slow neutrons as soon as they bounce on a particle, would have a thermal energy and would be detected...

his position is thus that something really new, not a fusion, not inverse beta decay like WL, but something that produce no neutron, no gamma, in one single "miracle"...He propose that all is induced by the irregular topology of the lattice at the surface, by cracks...
    I don't understand more...

anyway larsen have noticed many points... but he interpret them in his vision...

my position is that theory is premature... I have evolved, 2 years ago I was fan of WL... now agnostic...
really you should read the debate on vortex...
