    Igor Vitalievich Goryachev presented a work with Vladimir Kutzentsov about nuclear waste decontamination by plasma and RF wave.


    They work is based on classical method to retreat nuclear wastes by vitrifying them after plasma incineration.
    To that scheme thay added a powerful RF (ETM) generator which triggers LENR to decontaminate by transmutations the wastes.


    They have plan to use that technology more widely, to produce energy (The Russian Tiger), to decontaminate sea water, to incinerate wastes on the see so it can be cleaned from waste patch.


    I missed many detals on that technology, so it is a good thread to complete.

    yes it's a very interesting subject but take care , TWO subjects ! not only one


    to be considered only with LOW RADIOACTIVE wastes or fuels- with HIGH radioactive wastes coming from the reactor , the present plasma tools are not to be applied( or other plasma tools may be in the future )


    1 with RF plasmas ( inductive plasmas)
    2 with transmutations in plasmas


    I will developp in couple of hours subject 1 the great possibilities and capabilities and limit of the systems , if you do not take care of the specification of the plasma criteria Ne-T°K. ( LTE-PLTE ) tools you will create more problems of contamination than remediation solutions., mainly for low radioactive wastes or heavy or toxic metals.

    BUT FOR TRANSMUTATION tool subject 2 , yes it works, if you use at the outlet of the plasma ICP- AES analyzers to verify the job and X rays detectors and ALPHA trap., it's the beginning of the crusade !
