    Where I come from it is usually allowed to loudly voice a different opinion, making some jokes, use some irony, etc. A fight with words would actually be encouraged now and then.     And yes, it was the accusation that IH somehow attempted to defraud Woodford that is a prime example of Rossi's faeces-flinging. Repeated here ad-infinitum, in lieu of any proper technical or legal arguments.

    And Monty - as always - you should have seen the first draft, an extra paragraph was deleted for being unnecessarily provocative. I do (generally) try to keep things toned down, but sometimes... well, you know how it is. I have a limit to my tolerance of foolishness, and you can't sugarcoat everything.

    If I say: Frankl's stupidity is to confuse PC with correct moderation.


    That would be tendentious and picking a fight in a personal manner.


    If I say: Frankl: I disagree that taking a strong line with personal attacks is about PC. It encourages rational debate on the issues, even when opinions are strong and feelings heated, and discourages what happens very easily, which is people slagging each other off and attacking each other, their motives, etc rather than addressing the facts.


    That would be making a valid point disagreeing with your above post. And just to be clear:


    Frankl: PC is quite different in aim and content from avoiding personal attacks, which is what moderation here tries to do.


    That would also be a (shorter and therefore maybe better) valid point.

    That is not quite what I said, or mean't Adrian. We, the anti-Rossi brigade, have plenty of scientific, and moral *proof* to be angry, disillusioned, and repulsed by the man. It is right there in the court records for all to see. On the other hand, all that is left for his believers, is hope that the man is not quite as crooked as the record shows.

    To be honest THH, I just did not understand that. Yes, it is a prickly topic, so I understand if you do not offer some clarification.

    We're alive and well with slow methodical progress. It is very good to see the Takahashi summary of Japan's progress in the sector.

    F&P got it right and we owe it to them and to our planet to make it real!

    It is good that IH is still moving forward. For the field to advance, legitimate firms need to be involved. It will be extremely difficult for an individual to make much progress.


    Can you provide a guesstimate as to whether there will be any announcements from IH/IHHI this coming year? Whether ground breaking or even simply a recap of business to date?
