    ...

  • Obviously taken seriously enough by a "certain percentage" of Germans who buy the magazine, and who will (!) do their work on spreading the info which will also draw the attention of more seriously taken entities.
The (former?) Swiss e-Cat licensee(s) (Schneider's couple, Adolf & Inge) is I think also into magazin publishing, which has a big cover on esoteric mumbo jumbo...

It remind me Agoravox, in the mirror (mostly left conspiracy)...
Anyway there are also conspiracy theory in mainstream news, let us start by the myth that cold fusion was debunked by Caltech/MIT and is only maintained by a small gang of fringe believers who never published anything serious, who cannot replicate anything, who have tiny imprecise results...

On some subject Le Monde is not more serious or informed than Agoravox or Kopp-verlag... Maybe ideology, wishful journalism, and good lobbying by installed lobbying sources.

That is sometime sad, because some conspiracy theories spread like flu, but today the mainstream news are probably no more the main source of data for people who are interested on any subject, LENR, or geostrategy. The good point of conspiracy plague , I practiced it with early internet, is that it prepares you to challenge any source.
Some people use that need to challenge any source, to be biased pathoskeptics who refuse to accept things that challenge their ideology... they behave like opinion journal (note: in France most journal are mostly opinion, seldom contradictory, and very consensus/groupthink on many subjects).
However some people can use contradictory sources to build a map of the possible realities, a map of point of views... This vision is exactly the opposite of the journalist model which is based on a vision where ethic journalist relay reality, and responsible media select the best journalist.

There is a need both for multiple sources but also for permanent skepticism and self criticism to avoid groupthink and pathoskepticism/belief. This is not so different from science, with the same conclusions that opinion groups often live in groupthink, in paradigms, that are incommensurate.
