[feedquote='E-Cat World','http://www.e-catworld.com/2016/07/17/tom-conover-reports-on-replication-efforts/']Tom Conover today on the Journal of Nuclear Physics, in a comment to Andrea Rossi, made an interesting report on some testing in efforts to replicate the E-Cat effect. His full comment can be found here; below is the section that pertains specifically to his tests. “During the last 16 months I have built about […][/feedquote]
Tom Conover Reports on E-Cat Replication Efforts

An interesting read. Having followed to some extent the numerous replication attempts reported here at the LENR Forum, we see that Tom is conducting very careful experiments and taking all the precautions and taking the structural / engineering / choice-of-material tasks very seriously. The mention of 7lithium fluoride brings up an interesting fact. Lithium fluoride and lithium hydroxide form what is erroneously referred to as a "double salt" LiF.LiOH. There are good reasons to believe that this lithium "double salt" may have very unusual properties, including ability to participate directly in LENR.

EDIT: The results below aren't actually from Tom's experiments; they are just him repasting the "leak"
Tom Conover posted the following results on the JONP:
58Ni 60Ni 61Ni 62Ni 64Ni 6Li 7Li
Before 68.1 26.2 1.14 3.63 0.93 7.59 92.4
After 14.2 6.3 0.3 78.5 0.7 86.5 13.5
Change -53.9 -19.9 -0.84 74.87 -0.23 78.91 -78.9
Status: used used used added used added usedVery similar to the recent Rossi "leak"!

Splendid news if further confirmed.

Wait, actually this is the exact same results as the supposed Rossi leak. Very strange. Are we sure this leak was supposed to be Rossi data and not Tom Conover data?
-
Oh nevermind, the table Tom Conover posted is actually not from his experiments, but he is just saying he saw those on ECW.

He doesn't mention using any EM stimulation. This is a me356 feature (as well as Rossi, Brilluoun, etc.). Seems Tom needs to focus less on the fuel composition and more on how to stimulate and control the reaction.
