Rossi-Blog Comment Discussion

Any idea what is Rossi's exit plan this time?

Like Dewey said, Rossi has the $10M he swindled from IH. His plan is probably to live on that for a while and to try to get a new sucker to invest somehow. Or maybe he's ready to retire. He is no spring chicken.

  • No, it's not. Working with excellent financial support since 1989 and with a superb partner, F was not able to convince entrepreneurs, major industry, or major academia and the military that his work should be followed up with a large project.

No, that is not what happened. He did convince them. In a sense, he convinced them too well. It was a joint venture with Toyota and Johnson Matthey. When they saw it was working, they began to argue over IP, and that brought the project to an abrupt halt. I describe this in my upcoming introduction to the letters between Fleischmann and Miles, which I hope to upload this week.

But wouldn't any patent/IP be free game these days. It seems like one or the other would move just to get the trillions- The first to market would likely quickly gain enough to buy out the other.

I do not understand what you mean by "free game." But anyway, they both had to move in cooperation. Neither had the knowledge to proceed on their own. Toyota did not want to buy out J-M, they wanted to kick them out of the collaboration. J-M said no. That's what Martin F. told me.

Only if they wanted to sell.

    Correct.

  • Sell- there are hostel takeoversall the time.

Jed perhaps someone might want to do a crowd sourced fund raising for some Type A Pd formed in a reductive NH3 atmosphere or what even JM used. I think that the boil off included some Ce and Mike McK had some of the lot analyzed. say 10 or 20 people throwing in $5k for part of the Pd run.

Free game- anything over a year and accessible to the public is not patentable, and patents older than about 14 are fair game as well.

There is a lot of JM Pd diffusion work from the 60's that likely could be pulled into use

They don't make it anymore. They haven't made it in many years, and everyone who knew how to make it is retired or dead. However, the modern version of hydrogen filter Pd might work just as well. I do not think anyone knows, but it seems likely.

I believe the material used early on by Bush and Eagleton was from diffusion filters around 20 to 25% if memory serves me. The Ag prevents as many large cracks also there is Pd material with some Rh which is used to "store D and T" in bombs that also avoids the cracking.

  • Snoopy, you are padlocked.

Have you been a bad dog?! :(

    H-G,

In defense of snoopy, it was not him OR Dewey, Go back a few Pages and review, I think you will find I may be the culprit.

It was however, something I have written a few times and never got my hand slapped.

If you find it offensive, advise and I will refrain from using it again.

  • Can't see anything offensive by your hand, perhaps because I totally agree on your opinion about AR. How this could rub off on Snoopy I cannot comprehend, though.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to keep a "criminal record" so we could check if absent friends are on voluntary or forced vacation? For instance, what is the status of our abrasive MY? Has he left us or is he banned? (Perhaps he is haunting us doggy style!)

  • Rossi fans and and all “fence-sitters”, which still couldn’t decide if Rossi has a LENR reactor, should prepare for more wait.

Rossi is again talking about a newer e-cat model.

A new development, which - no surprise - needs again a 1 year test to reach “sigma 5”:

    42,

Not that I would be surprised, it is SOP for Rossi, but I cannot find this article,

    Where did you see it?
