[feedquote='E-Cat World','http://www.e-catworld.com/2016/02/08/orbo-has-touched-down-in-the-usa/']I noted on the Orbo Update thread that I have finally been able to see the package tracking for the Orbo Ocube order I placed for testing. The package is currently in my state and I put a call in to the shipper who said that it might not get on the truck today, but […][/feedquote]
Orbo has Touched Down in the USA

I got an email from Steorn today informing me that my Ocube had inadvertently been shipped without the Li-ion battery in it. Someone had been doing some testing on my Ocube without the battery in it, and it had been placed in the wrong spot where it was picked up for shipping.
:dash:But maybe it's a good thing.
So it's possible to measure directly at the "power generating" parts of the ocube. -
Maybe. If Acland finds someone smart and capable enough to actually do it without destroying the thing. There were rumors the innards would be potted in resin.
-
Yes, somebody not fully potting trained has been at work here, it seems:

Franks Ocube was delivered and seems to have a battery:

Funny, a free energy device that in order to work needs of a battery
-
Henry, just as funny as Rossi's devices that need electric heating to produce heat. Like my toaster, by the way.

I wonder why Frank is interested in that non LENR (not even EmDrive) object with no scientific experiments record to support even remotely it's technology.
A conspiracy theorist would say he try to delay mainstream awareness of LENR by proposing easy strawman.
But I'm not a conspiracy fan...
That is expensive for a Li-Ion power bank.
If it works and it is not LENR, we have a greater problems with modern science than I imagined, but I clearly doubt it is up to that point. -
Of course it is interesting. But the question is if it is not just simple harvesting of electromagnatic radiation (wifi, GSM, etc.), or whether it is scalable and just needs more research...
It's very odd, but let's wait what Frank will report tomorrow after more tests. -
Barty, what makes you think it's anything at all? Are you not familiar with prior Steorn claims and prior Steorn performance fiascos? Never heard of their 550 hp magnetic motor that was supposedly under the stairs in their shop? How about their magnetic battery that had a current density same as AA's (0.5A/cc)? How about the Minato wheel at Kinetica Museum? How about the Orbo demo at Waterways that always seemed to required a large storage battery to run? How about their "bespoke calorimetry" that they never proved? Steorn has been nothing but failures and a waste of 20 million Euros over 10 years by their own admission! So again, Barty, what makes you think there is anything at all to their claims? Do you believe they split time, as their CEO recently said, to make Orbo "work"? What does that even mean? (I bet Axil will explain it though!)
