I don't think Dewey and others had bad intentions - could have just used a bit more tact and not have outted Sifferkoll's background info. Just because he wrote a book about it doesn't mean he deserves to have it brought up here.
Ironically Siff did the same thing with Thomas, but again two wrongs don't make a right.
IMO, we could all benefit from being kinder to each other. People on both "sides". I see that Dewey has changed tone a bit, that's a good start.
I put "sides" in quotes because in the end we're all on the same team.
