Vladimir Nevolin: Hydrogen Transmutation of Nickel in Glow Dischatge

There's a whole lot of stuff going on in that abstract.

1."An increase in the concentration of the nickel isotope and a decrease in the isotope concentration are shown."
2. "Conclusion: These results confirm the results obtained earlier in the heat generator Rossi, who worked more than a year,
found an increase in the isotope Ni 6228 Ni 6028 Ni 62"
Seems to be a big leap from 1>>2. Who knows what conditions Rossi was using?

Very faint experimental result, if any. No comment on theory. Paper don't deserve a dedicated thread.
-
However, it does give a very clear account (mostly) of the methods used. All useful. Anyway, you created the thread, no good grumbling about it now.
-
NO - I don't create the thread, and avoided to link source PDF in my original post for the evident weakness of result. YOU linked it - an isotopic variation of 1% is in the error range of null result. No cigar.

One aspect of the mysterious Ahlfors M.O. is now a little clearer.
-
Sorry, it was me moving the posts into a dedicated thread. Before it was off topic in the Rossi vs. Darden thread.

Conventional physics of fractionation - think Lugano "environment".

Oh, good. He's confirming a null result. The best available explanation for Rossi's results is that Rossi bought the isotope and introduced it into the reactor himself with his own tiny hands.
