Shame- I'll miss your company. Fingers crossed circumstances will allow me to attend in person.
IWAHLM Conference September 25th 2022
-
-
I booked my trip out on the Saturday - Stanstead UK to Rome (£8.99) and a train from Rome to Assisi (£10.00). Who said travel is expensive?
-
That's why temperatures have increased 1.5 ºC for the last decades.
...but you're excused as LENR supporter.
-
Entry to Italy from the UK
Until 30 August travellers who have been in the UK, in the previous 14 days, must present a negative molecular or antigen test taken in the 48 hours preceding entry into Italy. They must also self-isolate for 5 days, at the end of which they must take a rapid antigenic or molecular swab test for COVID-19 and test negative for release
Hi Alan,
Are you aware of the above? If you travel on Saturday, theoretically , you will have to stay in your
room until Wednesday. I don't know how or if they may enforce this. It is for this reason that Sue
and I cannot attend IWAHLM, much as we would like to.
Pete.

That may explain the cheap airfare.

Hi Peter.
I have ways. But thanks for the warning.
EVENTS
In Italy, the COVID-19 green certificate facilitates attendance at certain public events (such as trade fairs, concerts, sports competitions, parties following religious or civil ceremonies) and access to health care facilities for the elderly (RSA). It is also mandatory when moving into and out of areas that may be classified as "red" or "orange" zones in the absence of valid reasons for work, health or proven urgency.
As of 6 August 2021, everyone over the age of 12 must present a COVID-19 digital green certificate to access certain services and activities:
- Restaurants, bars, ice cream parlours and pastry shops for consumption at table indoors
- Performances open to the public, sporting events, both outdoors and indoors
- Museums and places of culture, shows
- Swimming pools and gyms
- Private parties, such as wedding receptions
- Festivals and trade fairs
- Conventions and congresses
- Spas and fitness centres
- Gaming halls and betting shops, bingo halls and casinos
Access to these services and activities is allowed on presenting the EU Digital COVID Certificate or an equivalent certificate issued by the health authorities of Canada, Japan, Israel, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Yes you are free to spread delta to all the vaccinated... This will change all statics very quickly. Best tactics to show how fast the vaccine will fail!!
-
I'm not planning on giving Covid to anyone. There's more chance of them giving it to me.
-
Meanwhile Italy (Sicily) reports a new record high temperature of 48.8C. Better take a hat!
-
Although it took 12 hours to get here, and involved plane, bus and train, nobody asked to see my Covid test results or vaccination certificate at all. Not at the airport, not at the borders, nor on the train.
Here's how the journey looked. Pick-up point at Ciampino Roma airport. I didn't ask.
Airport Bus to Rome Station.
Rome Station
Fuel for the journey! Last time I ate in this place I was with Ruby Carat on our way to ICCF-19
Assisi station, complete with stray monk
Finally, the hotel. Bill Collis (joint conference organiser) very kindly picked me up at the station.

Well done Alan, let's go after all, you give us more reports, we will read. And David is silent about something, whether he is going or not...
-
Quiet day today, only a few people have turned up, not helped by the fact that the Fiumicino trains are being delayed by track repairs today. Tom Grimshaw has had to cancel (paperwork nonsense not his fault), Joe Guokas like wise. Bob Greenyer is here, we had breakfast together.
Had an interesting chat with Carpentieri over dinner last night, he tells me he has some interting new results to talk about.
Weather lovely today, Italy looking as beautiful as ever.

Stay Safe Alan and Bob and Company.

Quiet day today, only a few people have turned up,
How many did turn up finally?
What I really enjoyed about the last years Assis trip, besides Assisi, was the Trattoria d'ourso a bit outside just atop a new highway (one doesn't) see. But with excellent food. The way home was even better each stop a good restaurant with excellent wine & dine.
The conference did look more like a class reunion than something new in science - may be Swarz was the exception.
So how was it this year?
-
Around 25 i9n the end. Matthew Valat with a group of Polish scientists, Biberian, Philolipe Hatt, Arnaud, Jacques Ruer, Celani, Claudio Pace, David Fojt, Fabrice Davide, Bob Greenyer, George Egely and a few others I don't know so well. Formal dinner was tonight, many long and fascinating talks. More news tomorrow.
-
Meeting ended at noon- was good to see at least a half-dozen forum members among the 25 who turned up. after the meeting an almost 700 mile drive and a twohour meeting on the way to Bologna. Quite a busy day.
-
A report from this Assisi event i shared.
First of all, i have to render thanks to people who helped me to go in Italia, also to the Celani's assistant to come back to the Airport.
It was a small event if we consider the number of contributors but certainly more friendly than the biggest ones.
Conrad Czerski the Clean HME team leader with his staff was there but strangely no staff from the over project Hermes ?
I did not know him and I found he is an opportunity for our field. Indeed, he remains a rare specie involved in the classical kinematic pathway but also open-minded enough to study the Lenr hypothesis.
In this way I found his interventions very relevant concerning the work of other people. He knew how to separate, I think, the esoteric things from the other works. Regarding the work of his own group in Poland, he highlighted the strong correlation of electron screening at low energies, by studying the DD path. However, he also found that LI7 + H pathway avoiding radiation is more relevant.
His current work looks for the most relevant metals as a support. George Egeli's presentation was very relevant too. He put forward all the different engineering works, throughout history around electron condensates, clusters and other well-known names. Very consistent with Czerski's work after all.
Francesco Celani presented his last work released and i have to say he is going in the same way as Czerski highlighted.
Regarding the current LF business, there was the presentation of 3 papers around the LEC case.
I understood the need of a codeposition process to trap the hydrogen inside the lattice, also if we remove all gas pressure the effect disappears. I heard that relevant investigations were going to be undertaken.
Last point Conrad Czerski proposed his university in Poland as ICCF candidate for summer 2023.
-
That ICCF would be in Stettin...
