Contrary to my initial understanding it seems Rossi talk of gas turbine based on Brayton Cycle or similar.
However it is the good moment to imagine what if you install that gas turbine, where compressed air is heated by LENr reactor, and injected in a turbine.... on an hybrid-electric aircraft.

For now what we have is the Levi&all test report. It proves that much heat is produced, not that it is reliable.
Seeing the conspiracy theory that Pomp&Eriksson , the only written critics, hard to imagine, and the errors they made, it is clear this experiment is not challenged seriously.
Moreover a company, Cherokee, managing already 2 billion, used more than 10 million and is proud of it.
They say they not only based their decision on the Levi&al test, but on their own test...
Add to that that the Chinses official of baoding HIDZ did not flee when signing an agreement and rather made a press release...I have a tendency to trust more people who bet their money that "tawkers" (term from Antifragile by Nassim Nicholas Taleb).
