    ICCF21 starts shortly, and this will be the thread to report on, and discuss any news -official/unofficial, rumors/gossip, that emerges.

    Very interesting line up. I particularly am interested in what Larry Forsley and Pam Mosier-Boss have to say about the NASA/GEC initiative. Also on the schedule is Miley, and his "UIUC IH LENR Lab" team, along with another UI researcher. Seems UI is a hot bed of LENR activism! Then there will be Sveinn Olaffson, Tanzella/SRI/BEC, and many more of importance.

    Looking forward for those attending to talk freely to others, along with us here, about what they hear, think, or whatever. Not just about the official presentation, but also what is said during the breaks. The good stuff. Certainly keeping it secret, has not done a darn bit of good in advancing LENR...so speak up. Please.

  • Forgot to mention the Safire Team will be there also. Great line-up, with the old guard joining the new IMO. Well, "new" in a relative way. Not many youngsters in LENR that I am aware of.

    Like I said, hopefully we get a lot of feedback from the attendees. At the least, with Abd being there we will get some good reporting, and plenty of commentary :) to go with it. Thought Alan was going to attend, but he is not. Maybe his lab is where the real action is?

    Anyone know if Ruby or anyone else who can be trusted to get the word out is going to be there ?

  • Looks like we have some young blood showing up. This was the result of the ICCF/Lenria's first time offering of scholarship programs to the event. That is what Miley has been doing at the UIUC for a few years now, resulting in IH funding a lab team on campus. Good recruitment tool to ensure the research continues on.

    Well performed research is never a failure. Even if the results are negative or unwanted, they are still of value and should be reported at meetings and in the literature. This helps prevent other researchers from repeating errors and going down blind alleys. It may also give others insight and lead to new discoveries.

    When you met a small company in hightech, a local academic lab in a dynamic zone, working in domain like nanotech, accumulators, engines, nuclear science, renewable, I would like to send them a handful of proposal papers saying that

    "according to this old LENR experimenter" a good research plan could be "analyse this and that paper" then "try to reproduce this and that experiment" "then when it works experiment this and that new idea" to gather data and why not go to "the explanation".

    Personally I'm attracted by Ed Storms approach, thus to PdD wet cells then dry gas permeation once it works, using modern instruments like used in accumulator research and nanotech, but i'm not competent enough to gather the reference papers, guess which kind of corporate lab would be best, guess the costs and requirements.

    I know Storms approach is not well received by most, but when I real all critics on all theory, the conclusion is that there is no theory, no hope, no future. I suspect, from experimental results, this position is a bit exaggerated.
