So out of all the LENR attempts and verifications of the tech who is the favourite for this ICCF 24 round? Who will win the prize? It certainly won't be me, my only cold-fusion device is a piezo-electric gas cigarette lighter!
-
We have yet to see the rules of the competition. No way to pick a favourite without checking the small print.
-
-
Cydonia is my favourite if indeed he has measured beta-particle radiation from his LEN reactor - running equal head to head with your ECALOX gamma - radiation measurements with @Wyttenbach's S(O) 4 physics model which seems to be far more accurate than using the quantum physics SM. Where is the small-print? Devices either work or they don't.

Slide with SSF Prize announcement:
I do not see more info. Perhaps they are formulating the details now, and will announce after the rules are laid out.

By Carl Page et al... or... Who?
The DoE ARPA-E recently decided that cold fusion LENR aka CMNS is indeed an established branch of science. Not so long ago not so.
Evaluating Decisions Made
Who is reviewing abstracts?
Who organized the Solid State Energy Summit held in conjunction with ICCF 24?
DID the ICCF 23 organizers decide this prize and Summit rules and what not?
Or not?
Who is offering 2 million dollars?
Who wrote the rules ?
As Ruby just showed, we know no more about this LENR Prize than you, but we are now trying to get the details. What they mean by LENR, simple, and reproducible for example.
Our communications with LENRDiscovery, and Carl Page tend to be a hit or miss, but eventually we expect to get some answers. Once we do our intent is to get the word out. What little is already known has created a bit of a buzz (excitement) within the LENR community.

Separate from?
Who put Carl Page in charge.
I seem to remember that Frank Gordon was in charge of organizing ICCF one year. Correct me if I'm wrong and I'll delete this comment.
Was it in 2015 or 2016?

Maybe a cute SNR could win the prize?

A final thought
It's time to get behind the development of small nuclear reactors (SMRs) which have with small fuel loadings, passive safety features, and the capacity to work in tandem with fluctuating renewable sources. -
-
Frank Gordon did indeed organise one of the ICCF meetings, but I can't remember which one.
-
There will be announcement and discussion about the Prize on Day 2 of ICCF24:
Day 2- July 26
Solid-State Fusion Prize Announcement and Discussion
A call to action to demonstrate that LENR is a nuclear reaction and achieves clean energy production without radioactive materials. Town Hall meeting to discuss Prize participation and expectations.

he he he, I just read the page!

Except we never thought to do that...but you did!
We need more women around here.

There will be announcement and discussion about the Prize on Day 2 of ICCF24:
I just now suggested they should publish the rules for the prize sooner than that, so that people can prepare applications. I asked them: "Is it limited to one prize? If two experiments emerge, will both get a prize?"

Apparently the organizers of the LENR Prize have not decided the amount or the terms and conditions yet.
-
Perhaps Peter Diomondes would have consulted if asked?
An X Prize has been called for... Certainly justifiable...
Why not ask?
