The “Thunderstorm” reactor as another potentially easy to replicate, and very useful, possibly LENR device

  • Interesting Malcolm has asked

    the Sherlock Holmes of LENR

    Bob Greenyer

    to investigate the Thunderstorm

    Generator.

AFAIK Bob Greenyer wasn’t asked by Bendall at all, he got involved with one team that was already engaged in replication,’after a good number of people had been asking Bob to look into the Thunderstorm Generator. Anyway, once Bob got involved he eventually begun direct communication with Bendall and has so far been allowed to look at everything and take samples of everything, and Bob only agreed to this under the condition that the MFMP is able to share and open source every result they get, to which Bendall agreed.

IMHO, So far, things have been looking very interesting, but there’s no definitive answer yet, only a very encouraging set of observations that fall in line to keep expectations high.

I certainly Hope to see LENR helping humans to blossom, and I'm here to help it happen.

  • As far as Bendall is concerned, patterns on a surface are not strong evidence for anything other than condensation spots.
There is too much hype with very little empirical evidence.

As far as bringing any of this technology to market, I don't think it is possible with a classical Corporation structure or LLC.
It will need to be done from a non-profit or foundation that gets government subsidies or philanthropic help.

Corporations trying to create cheap power have too much upfront cost and a very delayed ROI from my interpretation on history.

Otherwise, we would have had Nuclear Power across the world by now.
It seems as though very few understand EROI, and in particular as it relates to what is valuable to society.
How many times are we going to keep doing the same thing expecting a different result?

  • isn't that the same with any new technology.

Probably. In this case, the market will decide if the Thunderstorm works as advertised. But, what interests us here, I believe, is the underlying science that would account for the drastic reduction in emissions (transmutations?), and reduction in fuel burn by up to 50%. Is it LENR related like some hope?

Even if BG determines it is, I suspect mainstream science will ignore him, as they have ignored everything coming out of the LENR community for 34 years. But if the Thunderstorm is proven to work as advertised on the market (which I doubt), then the scientific community may be forced to look at the underlying science, as we are doing here.

So if the market proves it works, it may also validate LENR. The same can be said for Clean Planets boilers, BEC's Q-Pulse reactor, and ENG8's tech.

  • It's one thing to convince some customers that these special glasses let them see through a woman's dress, but doubtful you could fool them into thinking their gas mileage has improved by 50%.

I used to think like that, but experience has shown me otherwise. People can convince themselves of anything convenient to them with a little encouragement.

  • Plenty to be cautious about in this story. Anyone have any info on "Land Logical Power Ltd"? They are the company Alpha Prospects and Bendall's company Strike Foundation chose to "to introduce the game changing MSAART Thunderstorm Generator to the market".

According to the press release: " Land Logical Power Ltd is a renowned provider of innovative renewable energy solutions dedicated to shaping a sustainable future. The company specialises in engineering state-of-the-art technologies that drive positive environmental impact within the energy sector."

Search turns up very little about them, other than there are 2 shareholders, 1 employee, and been around since 2012.

  • Land Logical Power is run by Land Logical Group.

This is essentially this guy and this guy - who are involved with multiple businesses, several of which trade in second-hand cars. I guess everyone has to make a living.

This is the group headquarters on google streetview (as it was in 2014)

I can't fully figure out the links with this website and this website. But they are definitely linked.

Interestingly, this was Land Logical Power's website back in August 2018 (not long after the domain was registered)

Note that the LLP gas turbine photo exists all over the web - it is just a stock image.

  • The link...

If you search the phone number on the 2018 version of the Land Logical Power website, you get the following:

This is the same address in Watford as seen in the Google Street View link, above.

  • once Bob got involved

...he has been effectively promoting the thing. The "free energy" forums now seem to be treating MFMP involvement as an endorsement.

Has there ever been a mystery technology that Bob as not been enthusiastically positive about, during any of his "investigations"?

I once felt the same way about bob but have changed my opinion. The enthusiasm that bob displays reflects what he is seeing in these systems, transmutation and strange radiation. Both of which has no known explanation. I'd be thrilled myself to be able to report the things he has seen. Bob works hard to provide evidence for his enthusiasm. He deserves the benefit of doubt.

  • Last night I noticed that Bendall's thunderbox can end up glowing red. This would place it into the temperature range for the thermochemical dissociation of water vapour, into hydrogen and oxygen, using metal oxides (e.g. iron oxide).

Sometimes this can happen accidentally (I witnessed an incidence of this over 40 years ago, when steam was blasted across overheated steel tubing on a ship, and the resulting hydrogen fire melted the rest of the tubes). But the basic concept is very old, and has been investigated for hydrogen production, over many years.

If it is true that the Bendall system no longer uses the original electrolyser, which gave it a helping-hand (and he hasn't hidden some kind of Joe cell inside the bubbler unit), then it might now be relying purely on thermochemical dissociation to squirt hydrogen into the engine. So this may just be similar to the GEET after all.

None of this requires "plasmoids", or anything nuclear, to work.

However - Bendall chose to present this "invention" to the world dressed in an array of batshit crazy terminology.

And then along comes Bob - who, instead of looking for prosaic chemical explanations, decides to tell the world that despite the lunatic description, this thing really relies on plasmoids and LENR transmutations to produce energy.

This kind of thing does the entire field of LENR research a massive disservice.
