Always astonished by how people are dreaming about space missions while our own planet falling apart.
How is it when your house is burning because of wild fires and you talk Mars missions. I don't get it.
Is it a result of a propaganda aimed to distract us from mundane problems?
Do you know why I said that? I'm implying there are possibly energy sources more than good enough to replace fossil fuels and intermittent power sources. These that we have some experimental hints of possibly aren't technically nuclear. That statement was meant to say if we crack fusion it's hyper efficiency/density, slightly more dangerious and probably higher expense/complexity than pico-chemistry would still work for the trade offs nessasary in space/military applications (just like fission). Though pico-chemistry is as seen more than good enough for those applications, other than being a little less dense and no producing different baseline elements (this is only a problem in the most extreme applications).
Fission powers the inside of large rocky bodies, fusion the cores of stars. The entirety of gas giants, atmospheres of stars and our planet seem to have hints of something powerful and electron/hydrogen dependent also just low enough energy to not be nuclear. A producer of power that we could call pico-chemistry or hydrino chemistry, but it should involve element interactions more varied than H catalyzed to closer orbits by itself. Just my slightly informed opinion.
I would go to Mars tomorrow if I could, and not even worry about getting back. It would save my family the expense of a funeral, and what better grave-marker for my grandchildren and their children than a red planet hanging in the sky?

LeBob I get what you said. We should not like that Hans get fixated on lenr as the only solution. Nuces with storage and hydrogen can solve all the problems even such as near space missions to fend off asteroids. No need for lenr or abandoning Earth for Mars.
I'm in favor of any LENR-like energy reactor which is denser than hydrogen cumbustion, anything that could be confused for being cold fusion. Whether it is or not nucleon originating is of no concern of those who want energy except for engineering optimisation.

Are you going to ignore any product not labelled as 'Certified Cold Fusion/LENR'? I can't care less as long there is something to destroy carbon monopolies so I can forget where certain countries are on the map and what their name.

Well sounds a little xenophobic I want as many countries as possible to be energy independant. My point exactly. I express the same sentiment. It needs to be a leap above, (like 14× or 4,000×) more than equal to hydrocarbon combustion. All I'm saying is if it is denser than standard chemical energy and able to swap in to cover many applications I'm all in, doesn't matter if it isn't LENR/Cold Fusion.
