This is all documented, but there are literally tens of thousands of images.
-
This has nothing to do with images. Just try to find the logbook and when there was a stop lasting 3 days....

The log is basically documented through displacement maps. Between Sol 1142 and 1150, the rover traveled what I stimate were about 50 meters as you can see in the map below. However, there were only 10 images from the microsope cam on that span of time (4 for sol 1145 and 6 for sol 1148).

Relevant images from sol 1148 (flipped and merged into one frame in the publication)

This are not rover images. This is from the European satellite and shows the location of the rover.
Can you find the microscope images? For me it looks like professional fake.

Wyttenbach , please pay attention, I already posted in my answers to you the original images from the opportunity mission database. The images are real, haven’t been doctored or faked. The only thing I can’t attest (because that information, if available, is not easily found) is that they are from the exact same spot of the Martian soil, but given that the relative positions of the “puffballs” match exactly, it’s unlikely they aren’t of the same exact spot.
There’s already an ensuing controversy that has focused in the main author and his past history of claims. For me its not important if an observation is reported by the king of the world or if it comes from the garbage man, if the observation is accurate, and points to something interesting, it will catch my attention. In this case the observation is a notorious change of size of the same objects that are already officially deemed to be mineral granules in the surface of Mars. The change of size, and the apparition of new objects in the exact same spot that was previously empty, in the span of three “sols”, is a very intriguing observation, inert mineral grains don’t do that on Earth, while living organisms could show the same behavior. This is what calls my attention, a profoundly intriguing observation, Which lacks obvious explanation within the context. No matter who observed it, this is fascinating on its own merit. -
Seem it may be just a clue to whats going on in a now time line to the story, is not "going to new earth" its go to earth when it was new..
gots have something fun to think about.

Gots= got to have a sense of humor.. i just don't like to type it all out...

So far I found no link to the original images. As said only overviews from the ESA satellite.
Can you double check that what you link is also what is in the paper?

Lo and behold, you are correct! My bad! by some quirk of the forum software when I pasted the links they all came out as the first one which was of the map, and I was none the wiser to realize of it, thanks for pointing it out. Will post them In my following comment.

Ok Wyttenbach , thanks for insisting in pointing out my error and apologies for not realizing of it sooner.
Now, to the Relevant image from sol 1145

Relevant images from sol 1148 -
These are obviously different images from different places. But where is the original foto that contains the big stone?

The images I pasted here are the original frames used in figure 8 of the paper, they are rotated and cropped on the paper, but are the same.
The one with the “big rock” is Figure 7 on the paper, I didn’t get much interested by it, because it shows apparition of the “balls” but doesn’t show enough detail as to ascertain the behavior of a single ball.
Also, the original images are from NASA mission curiosity, and these are much harder to find, because this mission took hundreds of pictures each day, and the image browser of this mission is not user friendly, and even less from the phone. If I find an easy way to browse it I will post those originals here.

So you agree these frame are randomly selected and we know basically nothing about their origin that can certainly not be from the same place as the rover always did move.
As an original image I only accept the original bitmap everything else scientifically is fake.
Lets stop to talk about this obvious junk.

Claims of Evidence of Fungi growing on Mars.
If they are real, I hope they were not brought there by our spacecraft.

If your into this type of science it could be interesting..

Just one more H 11-B fusion attempt. As said structurally very unlikely as it needs >300'000keV activation energy.... The output is hot fusion mostly highly kinetic alphas but protons 3-He --> beloved neutrons are possible too...

Wyttenbach , this is a book of a Finnish M Sc that basically arrives to many similar statements about life on Mars than the controversial one of the other day, perhaps you want to give it a try. It has basically the same analysis of sols 1145 and 1148, but completely independent from the other team.
