Hey Shane, I support Frank Acland and his management of his site. I couldn't take endless speculation and kicked everybody who wanted to argue off of Cold Fusion Now! (who can forget the speudo skeptics like MY!) Frank stepped in and is still waiting patiently. He's hopeful, as many others are, but let's face it, unless there is third party confirmation nothing can be determined for sure.

That's what took so long! I am terrible at doing transcripts. It is funny because some people are listening podcasts all day long, and don't ever read the transcript, and that's why I started the podcast, for those people, in hopes of expanding the awareness of this solution to zero carbon. As it turned out, few listeners are new, and it ended up being for the "insiders" who want data on "paper" (screen).
I'm glad we got to highlight many of the scientist's work in their own words though. I give them the platform to speak their truth, and we covered Mats Lewan, Abd ul-Rahman Lomax, and Frank Acland on the Rossi topic. Each has a different take. Only time will tell.
I really really really really really hope there is a breakthrough ASAP. I am getting seriously depressed over the impending Dead Earth.

You mean the pseudoskeptics who were absolutely right about Rossi (and the related scams, Defkalion, E-cat Australia, etc. etc.) almost from the start, while some of the big names in LENR and renown Swedish scientists were wrong?
ETA: don't misunderstand me. I much appreciate all your hard and good work. But perhaps you might want to occasionally interview skeptics for a balanced view point and to help prevent later embarrassment. Many if not most investigators of LENR are honest but there are certainly some bad apples. And those have not gotten the critique from the LENR community which they richly deserve. I will not name names other than Rossi, so that no animals (me for example) will be hurt in this message, as they say about making movies.

The distinction between open minded and brains falling out is sometimes difficult to discern - but in this case Frank is clearly on the brains falling out side and it does coldfusionnow no credit to be associated with that.
I want to butt in just to repeat that, even if I dread referring to the Italian, and I don’t have anything good to say about his dodgy behavior, this needs not to reflect badly on the legitimate and valid research of Nickel based LENR, started by Piantelli currently being lead by Mizuno and also largely explored by Parkhomov, with interesting results.
I also want to state that bashing Frank for his genuine interest in the Conundrum posed by the Italian, is unfair, as he has given his reasons to still be interested In this and is his prerrogative even if one disagrees with him. If you don’t like it, don’t visit his site or don’t pay attention to his posts about the Italian. I appreciate Frank greatly for his interest and diffusion of LENR and I just refrain to take part in the posts that I know deal with the controversial issue of the Italian. As simple as that.

I, however, don’t shirk at responding there to posts about the certain Italian, and sometimes other subjects, but do tend to let things ride overall until an intolerable level of unfactualness occurs. I do avoid obvious transgressions of the ECW term of service, (like calling Rossi a lying, manipulative, coattail riding, megalomaniacal, adulation-craving scammer). But verifiable facts are OK there, it seems.
