How many SKLeds needed to light the exterior of the Empire State Building?
Quote
The Empire State Building’s tower first lit up in November 1932. As New Yorkers watched the sky, they saw a white beam of light. This told everyone in a 50-mile radius that Franklin Delano Roosevelt had been elected President of the United States.
Since then, the tower’s lights have been a symbol of New York City. Many staring up at the building might WONDER just how many lights it takes to light up the Empire State Building. Originally, the tower used a single searchlight. Later, it upgraded to revolving beacons. In 1977, a new lighting system was installed with 500 lamps. Another renovation in 2012 installed 68,000 LED bulbs to light up the tower!
Today, the tower’s light also changes colors. This happened for the first time in 1976. That year, colored floodlights shone red, white, and blue in celebration of America’s bicentennial.
Those floodlights allowed the tower to shine in nine different colors. With the installation of the new LED bulbs, the tower can now light up in over 16 million colors!

https://www.newsweek.com/wuhan…mic-origins-1600748?amp=1
video purportedly taken inside a Wuhan lab and appearing to show bats in cages has fuelled speculation about the origins of the coronavirus pandemic after garnering more than 1 million views since it emerged earlier this week
A team of self-described "underground researchers," who told Newsweek they are dedicated to exposing the origins of COVID-19, unearthed the footage. It is said to have been taken by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and produced for the launch of the Wuhan level 4 laboratory back in May 2017
The group, who call themselves DRASTIC, which stands for Decentralized Radical Autonomous Search Team Investigating COVID-19, compiled a detailed collection of documents, images, and laboratory data allegedly taken from the Wuhan facility.
The 144-page report, titled "Wuhan laboratories, bat research and biosafety," was published to Research Gate in April.
Snippets of footage from the report were broadcast by Sky News Australia on Sunday night and pegged as a "world exclusive." It was later uploaded to YouTube under the headline: "Footage proves bats were kept in Wuhan lab."
The collection shows bats inside a cage, while another shows a researcher feeding a bat a live worm. One still image shows a group of hazmat-clad researchers "capturing bats" and another shows a bat hanging from a woman's hat
The footage is believed to come from a 10-minute video titled "The construction and research team of Wuhan P4 laboratory of Wuhan Institute of Virology, Chinese Academy of Sciences," taken from inside the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Officials inside the lab were aware of the presence of live bats inside the facility before the outbreak of COVID-19 and a World Health Organization report investigating the origin of the pandemic "failed to mention that any bats had been kept at the Wuhan Institute of Virology," Sky News alleged.
Officials inside the lab were aware of the presence of live bats inside the facility before the outbreak of COVID-19 and a World Health Organization report investigating the origin of the pandemic "failed to mention that any bats had been kept at the Wuhan Institute of Virology," Sky News alleged.
It shows that much of what we've been told about the origin of the pandemic from the very beginning was Chinese disinformation which was then propagated by many people who had been working in conjunction with the Wuhan Institute of Virology who are compromised, who had extreme conflicts of interest," Sky News host Sharri Markson later told Fox News' Tucker Carlson.
"The Wuhan Institute of Virology kept live bats in cages .... disproving denials from World Health Organization investigators who claimed the suggestion was a 'conspiracy'."
Markson pointed towards one member of the World Health Organization team investigating the origin of the pandemic in Wuhan, Peter Daszak, and noted the zoologist said it was a conspiracy to suggest bats were held at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
No BATS were sent to Wuhan lab for genetic analysis of viruses collected in the field. That's now how this science works. We collect bat samples, send them to the lab. We RELEASE bats where we catch them!" Daszak tweeted in December of 2020.
"This is a widely circulated conspiracy theory. This piece describes work I'm the lead on and labs I've collaborated with for 15 years. They DO NOT have live or dead bats in them. There is no evidence anywhere that this happened. It's an error I hope will be corrected," he tweeted again on December 10 of 2020.
Newsweek has contacted WHO and Daszak for comment.
DRASTIC, which discovered the recently published footage, is composed of about two dozen or so amateur sleuths and correspondents, many anonymous, working across the world.
They scour the internet for clues and uncover obscure documents and other information that they disseminate over Twitter. More recently, their research has drawn a larger following, including many professional scientists and journalists.
"Daszak lied many times, the Wuhan Institute of Virology failed to tell the World Health Organization, WHO failed to ask, DRASTIC had to dig all this information out, piece by piece and the video is the final evidence supporting all our earlier claims of live bats at the Wuhan Institute of Virology laboratory," DRASTIC told Newsweek.
The idea that the coronavirus pandemic could have been triggered by a laboratory accident in Wuhan, China, has gained traction in recent months. President Joe Biden has ordered a report by U.S. intelligence on the origins of COVID-19.
Operational security on something like this is virtually impossible to keep secret.
Eventually, someone, somewhere is gonna say something then the entire conspiracy unravels.
I personally would not bet against the code breakers at the FBI or Ft. Meade, they’re pretty good at what they do and I would not be surprised if they already know exactly what happened.
But now consider, What does the government do if they find out China purpose built and released this?

How many Covid tests did you take? False positives are not unknown, one test is not a guarantee you have an active infection.
But sorry to hear about the self-isolation.

CDC: Centers for Damaged Credibility
.
https://www.realclearpolitics.…d_credibility_142622.html
Taking reasonable precautions but remaining skeptical of what all the purportedly "best experts" here in the United States are telling us about every aspect of their belated crisis management and response (especially on their pimping of vaccine development to prevent the disease).
Here are some plain, nonhysterical facts: The U.S. Centers for Disease Control is a bloated federal government agency with a long history of incompetence, fraud, secrecy, mission creep and shady alliances with both social justice causes on the left and private corporations on the big business right. The "deep state" of entrenched bureaucrats embedded in the Beltway bowels is alive and thriving at the CDC. The unelected elites who've occupied top offices at the public health-industrial complex are hostile to public scrutiny while clamoring for ever-ballooning budgets. Their recommendations have often been detrimental to citizens' well-being and freedom.
And, yes, many of the scientists who work there are rabidly anti-conservative and anti-Trump.
It's a brazen lie that President Donald Trump "slashed" CDC funding, which is being used as an excuse for the agency's coronavirus unpreparedness. Cognitively impaired and truth-challenged Joe Biden made the claim during last week's Democratic debate that these purported "Draconian cuts" put Americans at risk. But Trump's budget proposal to cut some sliver of CDC fat has never been enacted, and Congress increased funding, instead.
At nearly $7 billion, CDC's annual budget is more than 200% larger than it was two decades ago. On top of that, a shady big business lobbying group called Corporate Friends of CDC has raised hundreds of millions of supplemental dollars -- which raises serious conflict-of-interest issues. In 2007, Sen. Tom Coburn's fiscal audit of the agency discovered vulgar expenditures including CDC syphilis prevention funds spent to host a "safe-sex" event with a porn star, CDC HIV/AIDS prevention funds spent on a transgender beauty pageant, and $45 million in CDC funding spent on conferences featuring prostitutes, protests and beach parties.
Despite the flood of money, the agency been caught flat-footed on outbreak after outbreak. They squander untold millions on other health threats in favor of pushing gun control and nanny state hobby horses (TV violence, helmet laws, video games, anti-bullying campaigns and explicit sex education, for example). CDC has one primary job -- disease control -- but has managed to botch it without ever learning from past failures. Let me remind you of some of the CDC's long history of royal screw-ups:
--The notorious 1976 swine flu vaccine scandal was catalyzed by mass hysteria whipped up by CDC junk scientists clamoring for more money; Congress obliged and nearly 45 million Americans were unnecessarily jabbed with a vaccine for a disease that had fizzled by the time the shots were ready. The vaccine resulted in an increased risk of developing Guillain-Barre syndrome -- leading to muscle weakness and paralysis.
--In 1999, the CDC misspent $22.7 million appropriated for chronic fatigue syndrome and was investigated in 2001 for squandering $13 million on hepatitis C research.
--In 2000, the agency essentially lied to Congress about how it spent up to $7.5 million earmarked each year since 1993 for research on the deadly hantavirus. "Instead, apparently without asking Congress, the CDC spent much of the money on other programs that the agency thought needed the funds more," The Washington Post disclosed at the time. The diversions were impossible to trace because of shoddy CDC bookkeeping practices.
--In 2009, the CDC recalled 800,000 doses of swine flu vaccine for children ages 6 months to 3 years after the products manufactured by Sanofi Pasteur failed potency tests.
--In 2012, the CDC's main building housing infectious anthrax, SARS and monkeypox gases was discovered to have been leaking deadly pathogens due to a flawed engineered airflow system.
--In 2014, the CDC's lackadaisical response to Ebola virus gave the greenlight to Patient Zero Thomas Eric Duncan and infected medical personnel to board commercial airlines while ill -- exposing untold numbers of travelers to the deadly disease. Expensive isolation chambers that had been subsidized by taxpayers to the tune of $15 million sat buried in a Georgia warehouse.
--For the past few years, the agency has employed a fear campaign to induce Americans to get regular flu shots (formulated based on guesswork) using flawed statistics and despite international scientific conclusions that there is "no evidence" to support the CDC's assumptions that the vaccine reduces transmission of the virus or the risk of potentially deadly complications.
--Just this week, the Informed Consent Action Network reported astonishing results from its lawsuit against the CDC to obtain scientific documentation for the agency's claim that "vaccines do not cause autism" -- specifically for the first seven vaccines given to your child in their first six months of life. CDC had stonewalled, and then finally produced 20 studies -- 18 of which were irrelevant to ICAN's public records request and two of which suggest that vaccines may indeed cause autism. In other words: The CDC is lying while continuing to smear vaccine critics as "conspiracy theorists" and public health threats.
As if to underscore my point about this agency's misdirected priorities and rank political pandering, the CDC director this week found it more urgent to condemn Republicans as racist for accurately describing the origins of the virus from Wuhan, China, than to do his job.
Informed diagnosis: The "best people" -- who have now been rewarded with more than $8.3 billion in new "emergency funding" -- are not in charge.
It seems no one here is complaining about Moderna.... any side effects or simply the same story as Pfizer? There have been hundreds of million people vaccinated, mainly in the US...not much can be read nor found...

Leonardo Corporation (LC) has not taken any money or recieved investment capital that we can find a record of, nor monies for a product offered or licencing agreement for such.
Unlike Brillouin or BLP, or even GEC, LC operates with anomolous energy. Like the eveready bunny he keeps going and going. The question is how?
A few important facts I keep in mind while considering this. Advanced CMNS has led to LENR Energy technologies (LENR-Heat, LENR-Electric, LENR-Transmutation) being emergent along many fronts, in many countries from different organizations. Leonardo Corporation and Global Energy Corporation are the only groups offering (LENR-Electric) products; electrical current flowing from CMNS nuclear processes.
I believe they each have what they say they have.
In the meantime...
Fractal geometry, self organizing plasma, nano physics, meta materials, weak and strong force nuclear harmonics, nuclear batteries, quasi-fission quasi fusion, dendritic phases, cosmic rays, muons and the study of regolith moondust.. These, and other fairly new, related arts of science are where we are advancing this science.
In many ways though, new physics builds on old physics while changing it. New arts are always surprising us... providing insight. Some people keep up on this never ending process, while others don't.
Yes, LENR Energy Tech is emergent along many fronts. GEC and LC will follow through with LENR-E products or get beat by others with LENR-Heat, LENR-Transmutation, or perhaps even LENR-Electric products.
In the meantime I read alot and wonder about things like this. It is likely most here, on this thread, will not Google, study or attempt to grok it.
This is of interest. Might something like this be occuring on the nano scale in the low energy nuclear reaction environment?
It was also presented/published at MIT, titled "Fractal Reactor Re-Creating the Sun" Todd Siler 4/12/2007
"Fractal Reactor An Alternative Nuclear Fusion System Based on Nature's Geometry" Todd Lael Siler 2007
The Fractal Reactor concept uniquely combines both magnetic and quasi-inertial confinement mechanisms (see Figures 3-5). The fractal magnets are designed to approximate the gravitational forces in a star that contribute to the compressional heating of plasmas in conjunction with the common dynamo phenomenon; this event commonly occurs when the self-organizing, superheated plasmas generate their own intense magnetic fields, which, in turn, sustain their high-temperatures and density.

As World Isolates Amid Coronavirus Pandemic, New Zealand Band Plays to 50,000 Fans
https://www.voanews.com/covid-…band-plays-50000-fans?amp
Singer Matiu Walters grinned as he gazed out over 50,000 damp but delirious fans and said those magic words: "So, what's up Eden Park?"
While much of the world remains hunkered down, the band Six60 has been playing to huge crowds in New Zealand, where social distancing isn't required after the nation stamped out the coronavirus. The band's tour finale on Saturday night was billed as the largest concert in the world since the pandemic began.
Equally momentous for a band which met while playing rugby at university was getting to play the first concert ever held at the storied Eden Park rugby stadium. And finding themselves at the apex of world music came as a twist for Six60, which has enjoyed unparalleled success in New Zealand but whose forays abroad have ended without the breakthroughs they sought.
Saturday's set by the five-piece band included powerful cameos by military musicians ahead of the nation honoring its war dead on Sunday, and Maori performers who stretched across the stage while the band switched to singing in the Indigenous language.
One fan, Lucy Clumpas, found it a surreal experience to be surrounded by so many people after she spent last year living through endless lockdowns in Britain.
"It's very important for us as humans to be able to get together and sing the same songs together," she said. "It makes us feel like we're part of something," Walters, the lead singer, said they desperately want their musician friends around the world to be able to play live shows again.
"We know what it's like to be in lockdown. It sucked. And we didn't know if we'd be able to play gigs again," he said in an interview before the show. "But we are fortunate, for a few reasons, here in New Zealand."
Guitarist Ji Fraser said the reception they received while on the road for their summer tour had been incredible.
"It was amazing to see how fanatical people were, and excited about being out and seeing live music, and seeing something to drag them out of a long, brutal year," he said. "It was very special."
Walters said they did worry that something could have gone wrong — that their gigs could have turned into super-spreader events. But he said there was not much to do other than play by the rules and follow the government guidelines.
The band formed thirteen years ago after they started jamming in their rugby changing rooms, making their concert at the hallowed ground of the nation's All Blacks rugby team feel like completing a circle.
The band had pushed for changes to civic rules to allow concerts at Eden Park, but not all the neighbors were happy.
One who objected was former Prime Minister Helen Clark, who said at the time that the concerts would represent a "home invasion" of noise.
"But the people wanted it. And the people spoke," Walters said. The singer added that Clark would have been welcomed at the concert. "Six60 is for everyone. And maybe if she came and enjoyed herself, she'd have a change of heart."
Promoter Brent Eccles said they got permission to use the venue only at the last moment.
"And we thought to ourselves, well, how crazy are we?" he said. "And the answer was, well, pretty crazy. So let's do it."
It's been a heady rise for a group which began as a hard-partying student covers band. Their style has evolved and remains difficult to define, blending elements of reggae, pop, rock and soul.
Bass guitarist Chris Mac said their fans now span rich and poor, young and old.
"We're pretty lucky to have become the soundtrack of people's lives. Weddings, funerals, birthdays, engagements," he said, before breaking into laughter. "You know, gender-reveal parties, which are all the rage."
As the band's popularity grew in New Zealand, it became a kind of sport for critics to knock them for being too bland. Walters said criticism of success remains a problem in New Zealand, and was something that annoyed him at the time. But he said it also energized the band.
"We are very serious about the music," he said. "It's important for us to express an emotion and tell a story, and for our songs to be healing and magnetic for people. Because, it's not a fluke that we're playing to 50,000 people."
The band has been trying to get more recognition abroad, although six months spent in Germany and a U.S. record deal both ended in disaster, as recounted in a behind-the-scenes documentary about the band "Six60: Till The Lights Go Out."
But the band is ready to give it another shot, with a tour of Europe and the U.K. planned for November. They hope that by then, there will be many more places around the world where huge crowds can gather in song.
FM,
Good to hear,
My band is gigging again, crowds are increasing, agent is busy.
Hopefully back to “normal” in summer
Display MoreEveryone should be a vaccine sceptic.
I am a vaccine sceptic to the extent that I am cautious and I want to hear the evidence.
Is the vaccine safe, no medical treatment is perfectly safe, ok what are the risks then?
Why do I need to take the vaccine? What are the risks if I don't take the vaccine?
I certainly would not want to be one of the first million to take the vaccine.
Being as i am in my 60's it seemed most prudent to have the vaccine.
I have to admit I was secretly glad to get the Pfizer one rather then the Astra/Zeneca but I would have accepted either.
I get that, for many, the risk of actually getting the vaccine is like being given a pill, or a sweet, and before you put it in your mouth you are told there is a 2 in 1 million risk of it killing you.
On its own terms a lot of people would refuse the pill because is its a concrete risk. Whereas Covid is a more abstract risk, you might not even catch it, and if you do it most likely will not be severe.
People are not good at risk assessment. Is taking a vaccine taking a risk or is it taking protection?
I also get the selfish pragmatist who says, let everyone else go for herd immunity and I will then not need to take the vaccine.
I even get that some people are by nature contrary to authority and so will refuse. Fine, I am not aware of any government that is forcing its citizens to have the vaccine.
What I don't get are those people that don't wish to take the vaccine and then spread disinformation to discourage as many others from taking the vaccine as possible. Who does this help?
This course of action disrupts the fight against the pandemic. As such it costs lives and damages the economy. Ironically many such protests carry the talismans of nationalism and yet they are actively damaging the recovery of their own country. So, as I say, it makes no sense to me.
For “Group Think Red”, the evidence is just as compelling to NOT get the vaccine.
