For all our refined precision measuring systems, surely room for improvement, yet this surprised me... Only, "five in human history, to be precise".

Most asteroids that have impacted Earth were discovered many years, often many millions of years, after the event. The evidence? Roughly 200 known craters scar Earth’s surface, telling an impactful story of how our planet, and life on it, has been dramatically shaped by violent collisions with ancient space rocks.
On occasion – five in human history, to be precise – we discover an asteroid before it strikes.
Warning of certain impact
At 19:24 UTC on March 11, 2022, astronomer Krisztián Sárneczky discovered a bright and fast-moving new object in the sky using the 60cm Schmidt telescope at the Piszkésteto observatory, Hungary. He collected four observations in quick succession, and just 14 minutes later reported his findings to the Minor Planet Center (MPC), initially designating the object ‘Sar2593’.
The Electric Universe Theory (true or false) points out that the electric forces can totally mangle earth's crust and shows how certain round craters cannot be made with an impact. Too round, no material left over found etc.
The argument that for example lots of platinum or Rhenium or other rare metals are found in those 'impact sites' can simply be explained by the electric zapping of our little blue planet. The whole notion that it is constantly meteors creating all mayhem and geology on earth or that they are the cause for 'climate change' etc cannot be maintained when one looks at this in more depth.
Ow and then of course how we are constantly reminded that the next one may hit us on the head, so be really scared... !
Did I mention that there is another one coming in really close this time! I mean 7 times the distance to the moon is close right?!
Meteors and such are used to scare us and keep us accepting certain explanations that make no sense. Like an endless stream of bullets waiting to hit earth because we are bad bad people is what this whole thing sound like to me.
Just a suggestion, we research the effect of large discharges and ionization on rocks, soil, water and air and see if there is anything to this idea of in-situ transmutations. Just an idea of course, we can always safely and comfortably keep believing in asteroids hitting us on the head!
