    Bad News From Brazil.

Back in April, COVID-19 hit the city of Manaus, Brazil, extremely hard. In fact, the outbreak there was arguably the worst in the world. One study, published in the journal Science, estimated that so many people were infected that the city could have reached herd immunity — that the outbreak there slowed down because up to 76% of the population had protection against the virus.

Now the city of Manaus is seeing another massive surge in cases. This time around, the outbreak appears even larger than the first one, says Marcus Vinicius Lacerda, an infectious disease doctor at the Fundação de Medicina Tropical Doutor Heitor Vieira Dourado in Manaus. "You have much more people becoming infected and that includes people inside their [newly diagnosed patients'] households," he says.

The surge is so large that hospitals have run out of oxygen, and patients on ventilators, who need extra oxygen to breathe, have literally suffocated in hospital beds. "I'm really afraid. I'm seeing lots of people dying, people that should have had better support in the hospitals," Lacerda says.

In many ways, this resurgence in Manaus doesn't seem to make sense because such a large proportion of the population was infected just last spring. In theory, these earlier patients should now be immune to the coronavirus. So why is the city seeing such a huge surge?

The answer could lie in a newly discovered variant....continues

  • Excellent summary keep it for future use! More details:

the pharmaceutical companies have applied for investigational use status

    • adverse events will be settled under the legal standard for experimental medications

    • recipients are enrolled as subjects in a medical trial to gatherdata on side effects.

persons are enrolled in a pharmaco-vigilance tracking system for at least two years

    • many groups of persons have not been studied at all, including: prior COVID-19 patients, pregnant women, youths, elderly

    • no published animal studies data

Vaccine safety requires proper animal trials and peer-reviewed data, neither of which has occurred during operation warp speed....

Because these experimental vaccines have not been tested in accordance with the usual standards, we have serious concerns about safety.

After it has been proved safe, the vaccine might be demonstrated to be effective in COVID-19 in certain categories, although we do not know that yet with a high degree of confidence. That is because the only group that really may benefit is the advanced elderly, and there is very limited data on efficacy and almost none on safety in this group.

Notably, the vaccine trials had too few positive cases to assess with statistical significance any benefit in secondary outcomes such as decreased mortality or hospitalization. (ref: https://www.bmj.com/content/371/bmj.m4037)

Pfizer ships fewer Covid vaccine vials to U.S. after Trump FDA label change

Pfizer stopped production (Clearly communicated by Belgium factory) and just ships stock! They are reprogramming/adding new RNA and thus you will get a completely untested vaccine within 2-3 weeks from now!

    Here the reason : https://www.biorxiv.org/conten…1.01.15.426911v1.full.pdf

  • AS Wyttenbach has said previously, this is not good news for a vaccine that's targets the spike protein. The virus is becoming more deadly as more information comes in. Delays in vaccination are mounting every day and manufacturing can't keep up. When will the FDA allow ivermectin, after a million americans are dead?

  • That’s impossible, they’re the experts Jed has been quoting as being infallible.

    They’re experts

  • Went for my fist of two Astra-Zeneca vaccine jabs today. Very efficiently organised - I anticipate that were vaccinating around 200 people an hour. and they are working 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. There's one other center for the locality, around a mile from the center I used. Equally busy I'm told.

    Good for you Allan.

Mom, (nearly 92 now), just got her 1st on Tuesday

Our national vaccination plan is already not on schedule due to this.... in our national media only "logistical problems" and "manufacturing problems" are mentioned. Politicians are becoming more and more nervous, since the vaccine is our only (official) remedy. Real reason(s) seems to be hidden. No mentioning of potential updating the vaccine with new RNA info. Lets wait what will be next .... wondering what kind of PR tricks will be used, to cover such potential changes!

  • Until Everyone Is Safe, No One Is Safe': Africa Awaits The COVID-19 Vaccine

    https://www.npr.org/sections/c…aits-the-covid-19-vaccine

As slow as the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines has been in the United States, some estimates say billions of people around the world won't be vaccinated for COVID-19 until 2022 or 2023.

Bloomberg has been publishing a map that shows the level of vaccine distribution in different countries and virtually the entire continent of Africa — more than 50 nations — is blank.

  • France May Delay Second Doses; Swedish Response: Virus Update

    https://news.google.com/articl…=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US%3Aen

France’s top health authority is recommending doubling of the time between two required vaccine shots as a way to stretch supplies and speed inoculations.

Extending the period between the required first and second doses would allow at least 700,000 more people to receive the initial treatment in the first month after the change, the country’s Haute Autorite de Sante said in a statement Saturday. The change could help the government meet its target to inoculate 15 million people by June.

This is insane as the experts debate the dangers of this approach. #1 building a vaccine resistant virus.

But aren't they widely using ivermectin on a regular basis and therefore are in a "better" position than US or Europe?

Many people in Africa should have a prophylaxis with IVM or are the dosages too low or any other reason which could pose problems like in South Africa?

Good catch, the rise of infection is climbing but not at the rates Europe and the americas are seeing. Thanks I didnt look at that angle.

    COVID-19: The Ivermectin African Enigma

    https://colombiamedica.univall…omedica/article/view/4613

    Abstract

Introduction: The low frequency of cases and deaths from the SARS-CoV-2 COVID-19 virus in some countries of Africa has called our attention to the unusual behavior of this disease.

Aims: Describe SARS-CoV2 infection and death rates in African countries that participated in an intensive Ivermectin mass campaign carried out to control onchocerciasis and compare them with those of countries that did not participate.

Methods: Data from 19 countries that participated in the WHO sponsored African Programme for Onchocerciasis Control (APOC), from 1995 until 2015, intended to treat over 90 million people annually and protect an at-risk population of 115 million, were compared with thirty-five (Non-APOC), countries that were not included. Information was obtained from https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ database.

Results After controlling for different factors including the Human Development Index, APOC countries, show statistically significant 28% lower mortality (0.72 IC 95% 0,67-0,78) and 8% lower rate of infection (0.92 IC95% 0,91-0,93) due to COVID-19.

Conclusions: The incidence in mortality rates and the number of cases is significantly lower among the APOC countries compared to non-APOC countries. That a mass public health preventive campaign against COVID-19 may have taken place, inadvertently, in some African countries with massive community ivermectin use is an attractive hypothesis. Additional studies are needed to confirm it.

  • I believe when the pandemic ends we will read study's, very similar to this one. No accountability!

The Reemergent 1977 H1N1 Strain and the Gain-of-Function Debate

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4542197/

    ABSTRACT

The 1977-1978 influenza epidemic was probably not a natural event, as the genetic sequence of the virus was nearly identical to the sequences of decades-old strains. While there are several hypotheses that could explain its origin, the possibility that the 1977 epidemic resulted from a laboratory accident has recently gained popularity in discussions about the biosafety risks of gain-of-function (GOF) influenza virus research, as an argument for why this research should not be performed. There is now a moratorium in the United States on funding GOF research while the benefits and risks, including the potential for accident, are analyzed. Given the importance of this historical epidemic to ongoing policy debates, we revisit the evidence that the 1977 epidemic was not natural and examine three potential origins: a laboratory accident, a live-vaccine trial escape, or deliberate release as a biological weapon. Based on available evidence, the 1977 strain was indeed too closely matched to decades-old strains to likely be a natural occurrence

  • WHO to investigate Ivermectin.

More bribes needed to delay it.

But why does Pfizer send out messages of restructuring factory...BBC uses creative wording when a paper shows that the vaccine is mot?

Why e.g. does Swiss TV censor comments about the above paper the (shows that vaccine no longer works) same with most journals...

The enemy of the people are not the anti waxxers, conspiracy theorists or the other political party. You have to learn who is a member of FM/R/J/B and who is bribed or dependent on them. These are your enemies that already killed 2 mio. people just for selling overpriced and already useless vaccines!

Buy your ivermectin - the horse/bird version is perfect. Do not vaccinate as it already tomorrow might be outdated.
