special section of the forum for a less cluttered discussion, and, to our amazement, is rarely used.

You recommend going to a private, not viewed by the general public, special section. Avoid this public forum to escape the cluttered discussions aka THHUXLEYNEW.

I hope the core purpose of this Forum will not get lost in the misguided desire to give a house skeptic free reign. Who decided that the purpose of this Forum was to provide a free speech platform to an ill informed skeptic who abuses the privileges and good grace of this open forum.

His comment, about my choice of the most likely ICCF-24 presentation to sway a skeptic, was critiqued by me.

What I want is a discussion about each of the choices members have posted. I'd like to see comments providing a historical background and previous papers published by the presenters. I'd like to see comments about the background and skill-sets of each researcher in that research team. Discussion about this science in front of us today. Relevant to a rather quickly changing field. Bringing the public up to date on this research.

Instead, this very very important thread is absolutely devoid of any of this.

I work alot with odd hours, I'm 64 years old working a swing/graveyard shift at Taste of Denmark bakery in Oakland CA. I also volunteer helping others with being able to die at home, end of life plan and stick by them throughout this final aging process. This is how I thrive.

In my spare time I am an amateur scientific research investigative journalist interested in Condensed Matter Nuclear Science and all related arts of science. I provide posts with historical background and look into the skill sets of research teams. I find patents. I look into new, little understood, areas of physics research that hold a promise for reaching a deeper understanding of the atomic, and perhaps beyond atomic, forces and energies within the LENR CMNS reaction pathways.

I have no college education. Yet I seem to be better educated than someone who teaches in one of the world's top 6 universities who is afraid to tell us his name.

    I have patience for skeptics.

I have absolutely no patience for THHUXLEYNEW.

This is a public forum. I want to post to the public, not in a special, protected, private hidden place on LENR Forum... just to avoid a few people who abuse the comment/discussion privileges at LENR-FORUM.

I should be getting my sleep now, instead I am arguing about NOISE.

You are the Keepers of the LENR Forum Big Big Big Thanks

Also, at some point you'll have to address this issue in a better way.

I'm confident that you will succeed.

    Other Forums have....

Look to them for possible solutions.

Don't forget that which is our only agreed upon purpose here at LENR-FORUM.

Anyone working at a cross purpose to our goals here needs to be contained or restrained in some way if they abuse the commenting privileges of this public discussion forum.

The LENR Forum Mission i.e. Purpose

The purpose is to promote collaboration through community for researchers and experts who have dived deep into materials science, electro chemistry, nano technology and plasma physics. The goal is to validate / replicate the LENR technology and see a commercial unit meet the market.

THH forum where CF/LENR/SSM/CMNS are simply a fringe impossibility and QM with the Copenhagen is true and on top of that the experimenters are stupid and never thought of contamination etc etc etc.

It is insulting if one thinks about it...

    thriving in every way

Our formula for success may not be up to your standards, or your expert friend, but we do the best we can. Contrary to what you say, the forum is thriving in every way, growing ever more influential within the community by the day.

Until that change's, we will keep doing what we are doing.

    Contrary to what you say

    Shane D.

    What did I say?

THHUXLEYNEW NOISE is unacceptable and a problem for many of us here and I presented a newcomers impression.

I asked you to have a newcomer assess it as well.

I never said the forum isn't growing more influential in the community.

Not necessarily due to your formula for success, which you infer is do to allowing THHUXLEYNEW NOISE to dominate.

I never said my friend was an expert, she is a writer and intelligent person. As a newcomer she read your thread in it's entirety. She also scanned a few other ones.

She was turned off by the circular insistent arguments. She wondered why THHUXLEYNEW was allowed to run rampant. She also thought that comments should be reviewed for relevance before being posted.

    Shane D.

I have critiqued a comment made by THHuxleynew which denigrates research in this field.

Yesterday I read this thread in it's entirety. I counted six choices presented, including my own.

    Hard to tell.

So, I had an intelligent writer friend read the thread, once through, and list the number of choices presented in answer to your question. She listed five presented.

A newcomer, I asked of her opinion of the quality of this Forum conversation.

Low... Many reasons given. Poorly moderated was her basic impression.

We discussed it a bit. Not of weight to present here. No worries No blame

Do the same yourself and gain insight into others perception of LENR Forum

So, maybe you could settle the score here? How many presentations were chosen as the best and most likely to sway someone new here. Also, will someone new here, on this important thread about ICCF-24, even be able to sift through all the negative, denigrating, doubt inducing, off - topic THHUXLEYNEW arguments...

    Or even want to.

E The CMNS (LENR community) does not work in the shadows. CMNS papers are well written, peer reviewed and published in many of the most respected Physics Journals today. CMNS research is multidisciplinary and provides insight for a deeper understanding into aspects of these related, sister arts of Condensed Matter Physics. Many other CMP works cite CMNS papers.

    Yes, it is great news.

To be clear: this is type 2 LENR where the credibility gap is maybe a bit less?

Also, it removes the main excuse for the LENR community to be working in the shadows without well-written papers, peer-review of those papers by mainstream scientists, robust debate in the literature. That robust challenge from many different people will I think vastly improve the quality of science and prevent prejudices and group think!

Although again perhaps the type 1 LENR, more difficult for mainstream science to accept, might still have that excuse.

Type 2 The credibility gap is maybe less.

    Like the LEC?

No credible explanation at all. It keeps going... beyond belief. Incredulous! Simple! These are appropriate words at this time. The LEC is CMNS.

...vastly improve the quality of (CMNS add edit) science and prevent prejudices and group think!

    Condensed Matter Nuclear Science

Improve the quality of this science?

    CMNS is high quality science.

    Vastly improve it?

It is not in need of vast improvement.

...type 1 LENR, more difficult for mainstream science to accept, might still have that excuse.

I.e. ...the main excuse for the LENR community to be working in the shadows without well-written papers, peer-review of those papers by mainstream scientists, robust debate...

    Type 1 LENR is CMNS

Which ICCF24 presentation is most likely to sway a skeptic?

Five of these presentations have been presented here in answer to this question.

    Answer my question here please.

Can a newcomer find them amidst the THHUXLEY NOISE?

    Five choices.

    Twenty pages of comments.

Almost no discussion about the details of these selections and studied responses. All shredded into hard to discern bits and pieces by all of the NOISE. Why try to speak 🙊? Over the NOISE Why try to hear 🙉? Past the NOISE.

The NOISE runs through everything here.

    THHUXLEYNEW

Give him his own thread and turn down, or better yet, move all his NOISE (off topic arguments) over to the Expert Skeptic THHUXLEYNEW Thread.

strongly disagree with him, but that's no basis for banning anyone.

The THHUXLEYNEW Thread is what I proposed.

What is your argument against that?

The American Nuclear Society accepted me as a member on their LinkedIn site. This allowed me to post articles. I posted two cold fusion articles which rose to be in the top 5 articles read that month. The comments and discussions were well studied responses, relevant and useful.

The point being... The ANS LinkedIn group will ban someone and not worry about censorship at all. Go talk somewhere else... We do not want you disrupting our discussions here. Find someone else to talk to.

Give THHUXLEYNEW his own thread where his thoughts can be contained. People can go there and talk with him if they want to. Maybe he could write a paper for peer review with his compatriots and supporters.

I have nothing more to offer here till this is resolved to my satisfaction.

Battling with THHUXLEYNEW is not what I'm here for. His diatribes are polluting almost every thread. You are insisting it is best to leave it be and have newcomers sort through all the crap posted by him.

If a guest tracks dog shit into your house you clean it up before other guests arrive. If a cat likes to shit on your bed you ban the cat from the house... or convince the cat to use the cat box made just for him.

    Seriously... Resolved to my satisfaction.

What might plasmas of Helium contribute in Condensed Matter Nuclear Reactions? The question might be one that only I am asking... Perhaps of no relevance. The properties and behavior of Helium plasmas are outlined in a slide show posted below. I am interested in any research exploring Helium reactions in CMNS.

    Abstract

Helicon Injected Inertial Plasma Electrostatic Rocket (HIIPER) is an innovative magnetoplasmadynamic (MPD) thruster developed at the University of Illinois UC. It is considered a stepping stone towards nuclear fusion space propulsion system. It comprises of a two-stage mechanism – helicon injection into an Inertial Electrostatic Confinement (IEC) fusion chamber and plasma extraction, and expulsion, using the IEC cathode grid. Two salient features of HIIPER are explained as follows. Firstly, IEC cathode grids generate a stream of electrons which neutralize the exhaust plume and prevent the space vehicle from getting charged. Secondly, the presence of a helicon bias grid at the upstream end of the quartz tube increases the most probable ion energies inside the system. Langmuir probe analysis was done at various locations inside the system to check for wall losses. Ion density trends are established by changing the axial magnetic field, IEC grid voltage and helicon bias grid voltage. Retarding Potential Analyzer (RPA) is used to measure the most probable ion energy with changing helicon bias grid voltage. A Mach probe is also used to measure ion velocity distribution with changing bias grid potential. Although it was assumed that the helicon bias grid will collimate the plasma beam and reduce wall losses, the observed trend showed only a weak effect. However, it was established that the helicon bias grid increased the most probable ion energy and flow velocity. These results provide the basis for the next experimental setup, with an optimized quartz tube, replacing the metal bellow coupling to minimize wall losses.

I think that Voyager 1 and Voyager 2, being past the heliopause, is akin to our voyaging past the heliopause of matter, beyond the Nano and Femto scale and into the unknown energies of the far ranges of inner space. Sorta think of it as the Heliopause of Matter, the atom etc. Protects us from the raw energies of the inner cosmos. Beyond this 'matter heliopause' the nuclear binding forces have little to no influence.

Neutrosophic Theory means Neutrosophy applied in many fields in order to solve problems related to indeterminacy. Neutrosophy considers every entity together with its opposite or negation , and with their spectrum of neutralities in between them (i.e. entities supporting neither nor ). Where , which of course depends on , can be indeterminacy, neutrality, tie (game), unknown, vagueness, contradiction, ignorance, incompleteness, imprecision, etc. Hence, in one hand, the Neutrosophic Theory is based on the triad , , and . In the other hand, Neutrosophic Theory studies the indeterminacy in general, labelled as I, with I^n = I for n ≥ 1, and mI + nI = (m+n)I, in neutrosophic structures developed in algebra, geometry, topology etc. This volume contains 45 papers, written by the author alone or in collaboration with the following co-authors: Mumtaz Ali, Said Broumi, Sukanto Bhattacharya, Mamoni Dhar, Irfan Deli, Mincong Deng, Alexandru Gal, Valeri Kroumov, Pabitra Kumar Maji, Maikel Leyva- Vazquez, Feng Liu, Pinaki Majumdar, Munazza Naz, Karina Perez-Teruel, Rıdvan Sahin, A. Bit of a poet myself, I appreciate Francis Bacon's allegorical title page...

The title page of Novum Organum depicts a galleon passing between the mythical Pillars of Hercules that stand either side of the Strait of Gibraltar, marking the exit from the well-charted waters of the Mediterranean into the Atlantic Ocean. The Pillars, as the boundary of the Mediterranean, have been smashed through by Iberian sailors, opening a new world for exploration. Bacon hopes that empirical investigation will, similarly, smash the old scientific ideas and lead to greater understanding of the world and heavens. This title page was liberally copied from Andrés García de Céspedes's Regimiento de Navegación, published in 1606.

    Unmatter Plasma Discovered

    January 2015

The electron-positron beam plasma was generated in the laboratory in the beginning of2015. This experimental fact shows that unmatter, a new form of matter that is formed by matter and antimatter bind together (mathematically predicted a decade ago) really exists. That is the electron-positron plasma experiment of 2015 is the experimentum crucis verifying the mathematically predicted unmatter.

Unmmatter Plasma is a novel form of plasma, exclusively made of matter and its antimatter counterpart. It was first generated in the 2015 experiment [1, 2] based on the 2004considerations [3].There are four fundamental states of matter: solid, liquid, gas, and plasma. Plasma consists of positive ions and free electrons (negative particles), typically at low pressures, and it is overall almost neutral. Plasma is an ionized gas (as in fluorescent neon, in lightning, in stars, in nuclear reactors). An ion is a positive or negative charged particle. A positive ion is called cation, while a negative ion is called anion. If the ion is an atom, then it may contain less electrons than needed for being neutrally charged (hence one has a cation), or more electrons than needed for being neutrally charged (hence one has an anion). Similarly if the ion is a molecule or a group(of atoms or molecules). The process of forming ions is called ionization. The degree of ionization depends on the proportion of atoms that have lost or gained electrons. By applying a strong electromagnetic field to a gas, or by heating a gas,one obtains plasma.Unmatter as theoretically predicted in the framework of the neutrosophic logic and statistics [4–6] is considered as a combination of matter and antimatter that bound together,or a long-range mixture of matter and antimatter forming a weakly-coupled phase. For example, the electron-positron pair is a type of unmatter. We coined the word unmatter that means neither matter nor antimatter, but something in between. Besides matter and antimatter there may exist un-matter (as a new form of matter) in accordance with the neutrosophy theory that between an entity and its opposite there exist intermediate entities.

An Experimental Investigation of Low Energy Nuclear Reactions in a DC Glow Discharge

Final Examination (Dissertation Defense) for Erik Ziehm

ABSTRACT: This work addresses the possibility of low energy nuclear reactions within a DC glow deuterium discharge with palladium electrodes. The hypothesis is that the dynamics typically used in plasma for nuclear reactions must be modified while the reactants are within a dynamic solidstate metallic system. In this work, a DC glow deuterium plasma simultaneously implants deuterons into the cathode and causes crystalline deformations, which act as trapping sites for the mobile interstitial deuterons. A Solid-State Nuclear Track Detector (SSNTD), called CR-39, was chosen as the technique to investigate the emission of energetic charged particles from the cathode. While other research has used this type of detector, this is the first application in a low voltage DC plasma discharge, i.e., a discharge with electrodes biased below 1 kV. A new analysis technique was developed, which allowed rapid scanning of large CR-39 surfaces. The new method amassed considerably more data than previous studies. After plasma treatments, tracks in the CR-39 detectors consistently corresponded to 138 ± 21 keV alpha particles emitted from the palladium electrodes. The track densities for deuterium discharges wereoften ∼100 times above controls with hydrogen and helium. Currently, there are no known means to accelerate ions to these energies within the apparatus. The energy estimates plus other factors like the ion directionality indicate these ions were created by nuclear reactions. This work provides future researchers the basis for establishing a theory for creating Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR).

I am beginning to understand a few papers by Fleischmann.

On the “unreasonable” effects of ELF magnetic fields upon a system of ions

    TLDR

Water molecules in the liquid and solute ions are involved in their ground state in coherent ordered configurations and ions are able to move without collisions among themselves in the interstices between water coherence domains because of coherence.

    Abstract

A recent experiment on a physical, nonbiological system of ions at room temperature has proved that microscopic ion currents can be induced by applying simultaneously two parallel magnetic fields, one rather weak static field, $\vec B_0$ and one much weaker alternating field, $\vec B_{ac}$, [Bac ∼ 10−3 B0] whose frequency coincides with the cyclotron frequency $v\, = \,qB_0 /2{\pi}m$ of the selected ion. As a result, ionic bursts lasting up to 20 s and with amplitude up to 10 nA arise. The much larger exchanges of energy induced by thermal agitation (the “kT‐problem”) appear to play no role whatsoever. We have analyzed this problem in the framework of coherent quantum electrodynamics, reaching the following conclusions: (a) as has been shown in previous articles, water molecules in the liquid and solute ions are involved in their ground state in coherent ordered configurations; (b) ions are able to move without collisions among themselves in the interstices between water coherence domains; (c) because of coherence, ions can follow classical orbits in the magnetic fields. A full quantitative understanding of the experiments is thus reached.

Coherent Quantum Electrodynamics in Living Matter

Living systems cannot be thermal systems, but instead are coherent systems. The dynamic origin of coherence is discussed in the case of electromagnetically coupled particles. Permanent nonvanishing electromagnetic fields are shown to be present but trapped in the coherent systems. The dynamics of enzymes is sketched as an outcome of the coherent electromagnetic structure of living matter. The emergence of bound water is analyzed. Circulation of ions is shown to be driven by the Josephson effect. Ion cyclotron resonance briefly is discussed.

Dynamics of the ion cyclotron resonance effect on amino acids adsorbed at the interfaces

In this study we show a reproduction of the Zhadin experiment, which consists of the transient increase of the electrolytic current flow across an aqueous solution of L‐arginine and L‐glutamic acid induced by a proper low frequency alternating magnetic field superimposed to a static magnetic field of higher strength. We have identified the mechanisms that were at the origin of the so‐far poor reproducibility of the above effect: the state of polarization of the electrode turned out to be a key parameter. The electrochemical investigation of the system shows that the observed phenomenon involves the transitory activation of the anode due to ion cyclotron frequency effect, followed again by anode passivation due to the adsorption of amino acid and its oxidation products. The likely occurrence of similar ion cyclotron resonance (ICR) phenomena at biological membranes, the implications on ion circulation in living matter, and the consequent biological impact of environmental magnetic fields are eventually discussed.
