    'In 2014, Montgomery Childs led the first phase of the Stellar Atmospheric Function in Regulation Experiment (SAFIRE) and his team created an experiment in which DC power was applied to a spherical metal anode that had been positioned in a glass bell jar, filled with a low pressure of hydrogen gas.

    As the power was increased, the gas around the anode began to glow, creating a plasma. First, small violet glowing tufts of plasma spaced themselves out around the sphere. Then, at higher power, a series of nested spherical shells emerged.

    These ‘double layers’ were made up of segregated, alternating layers of positive and negative charge, glowing beautifully in blue or violet.'

  • I looked the illustrations in the report and maybe someone can explain how they extract significant power and energy from that weird opaque cover on their Suncell. If that's a photocell of some sort, it ain't much area! To what intensity are photocells linear, anyway? And if they make a lot of electricity, that begs the question of why it won't self run considering the astronomical claimed COP's. Almost wrote gastronomical. Must've been thinking of Abd.

Not a simple system you can tinker with if something goes wrong - and I never understand why he always shows pictures of Suncells exploding spewing out their silver plasma contents. Its not LENR but claims to be about 1000 times more powerful than your average diesel engine - when can I buy one, please?

    Personally I like the videos of exploding devices. Exploding devices, awfully looking program code, automatic assembly lines that destroy the input instead of building things,...etc. - this is reality. Highly polished presentations make me suspicious.


    Great they have a simulation of a great MHD cycle, but I agree with you that this MHD device is highly complicated. They will never develop something like this alone. But the real kick off is the thermal suncell. If they could expand the working time span to 6 hours or better a full day and build up a good water flow calorimetry with high power output of the reactor - I think in this stage an OEM could start heavy investing with money and own staff.

  • In general BLP indeed shows a lot of videos, and one can see, what they have, what they are doing and that they actually are working on something. This is not the case for Rossi.

    But anyway, to me the guys of BLP look like boys playing with new year's explosives. Nothing more. This is quite sad.

    Running for an hour would be great, compared to what they had in october (if it is with a relevant energy output). But this part "..., after which some sort of undisclosed processing step was required" shows that it is a long way towards a working product.

    So running the device in a water bath for one hour would probably yield pretty good understanding about the performance of the device. They keep that information without disclosing it. I would be a bit frustrated as a shareholder (maybe they do get that info in secret) not getting this info. Anyhow they seam open to disclose problems so a fake bet that they now know the COP and it is high enough to continue and at this moment they probably i trying to optimize it.
